i'm with lowe on bledsoe -- he's one of those guys who's so underrated he's maybe a little overrated now. still love watching him play

Speaking of lovable goofballs, really feeling Athony Davis having a massive season. Kinda like the Rose injury, think that people kinda forgot how potentially dominant Davis can be. Basically hoping that the Rockets falter and Pelicans challenge for a playoff spot at the end of the season and reporters barrage Dwight with questions like "How has Anthony Davis surpassed you as the best center in the league so quickly, and why does everyone find him charming and find you so utterly repellent?"

I can still recall the big fracas over the gold-leafed birthday cake lebron rejected after he made The Decision to Take His yada yada. Yes, it happened before The Title. But if he were still pulling crap like that, I think we'd hear of it, with or without the rings.

There was def a lot of piling on going down form the decision until title #1.

Kobe won his first title and still was a PR disaster for years after.

There's also that thing where he was accused of rape and had a widely publicized legal effort to avoid punishment and ultimately settled and yet this doesn't seem to have much influence on his legacy/popularity right now so his pr guys can't be that bad
