http://sports.yahoo.com/news/warrant-links-aaron-hernandez-boston-shooting-153936759--spt.html
The search warrant filed by Bristol police provides some of the first details of Hernandez's alleged link to the Boston shooting.
Surveillance camera recordings showed Hernandez and Bradley going into the Boston nightclub Cure at about 12:30 a.m. on July 16, 2012, shortly after the shooting victims went into the club, according to the warrant.
Hernandez's movements inside the club weren't recorded, but police said Hernandez quickly downed two drinks and that he and Bradley left after about 10 minutes. Surveillance video then showed Hernandez driving a Toyota 4Runner SUV out of a nearby parking garage with Bradley as a passenger, police said.
The footage shows the victims leaving the club at about 2:10 a.m., and Hernandez's SUV passing by them twice as they walked to a parking garage to get their car, the warrant says. The shooting wasn't recorded by any cameras.
A third man who was shot in the car but survived, Aquilino Freire, told police an SUV pulled up next to them while they were stopped at a traffic light, and he saw someone in the SUV's back seat laughing, the warrant says. Then, several gunshots were fired from the rear passenger seat into the car, Freire told police. Two other people in the car ran away, Freire said.
A witness in another car told investigators that he saw an SUV with Rhode Island license plates run a red light, stop next to the victims' car and he heard six gunshots. He described the SUV driver as a light-skinned Hispanic man with short dark hair.

if they studed on-field facial expressions, they'd have found two or three more smiles within the 50 or so hours of game time this season. at least!
― fact checking cuz, Friday, 10 January 2014 18:16 (ten years ago) link
you usually see a quick on-field smile after a good win. i think there were probably 2, maybe 3 this year.

so...if you choose to believe the reports, spikes was put on IR because he was late for practice
― Roberto Spiralli, Saturday, 11 January 2014 21:26 (ten years ago) link
Seems extreme for the postseason when they already have some serious gaps in their lineup.
― Ornate Coleman (Moodles), Saturday, 11 January 2014 21:56 (ten years ago) link
yup, especially run defense
― Roberto Spiralli, Saturday, 11 January 2014 21:58 (ten years ago) link
i don't think they IR'd him for being late to practice once. sounds like an ongoing issue. and that's how bb has run the team from the day he took over, and i don't think he's ever cared if it's preseason, season, postseason or offseason. he's pretty much repared to bench or release anyone (except for brady) for anything at anytime.
― fact checking cuz, Saturday, 11 January 2014 22:04 (ten years ago) link
repared = prepared

maybe this got a lot of traction on weei or something but i never heard it once on national media -- if the refs don't pick up the MNF PI flag in carolina (note: the pats still have to score the next play but still), pats are teh #1 seed, could plausibly lose in div rd to san diego, but prob are hosting the conf final vs den instead of going to mile high
idk i just wanted to write that to remember it, i think its accurate. i did think @ the time it wouldve been an ok no-call PI, but considering the flag was already thrown, you can't pick it up and then race off the field, thats p bogus
― johnny crunch, Friday, 24 January 2014 14:21 (ten years ago) link
yeah the pick up was the objectionable part.
i wish they had shown up more but otherwise no sane NE fan can complain about them not making the super bowl this year. it is basically the only playoff loss i am okay with since bill & tom's excellent adventure began. equanimity feels p good.
― Roberto Spiralli, Friday, 24 January 2014 14:29 (ten years ago) link
yeah i mean that was all via my irl pats fan friend & is his only gripe, hes otherwise p rational & ok w/ how things really went down
― johnny crunch, Friday, 24 January 2014 14:33 (ten years ago) link
yeah i was (and am) super pissed about the picked up flag but in terms of full-season karma if you take away the wacky comeback against cleveland or the game-ending catch against the saints the pats are a 3 seed and don't get the bye and who even knows what happens. so idk it all evens out.
― call all destroyer, Friday, 24 January 2014 15:07 (ten years ago) link
also in that same game two plays earlier amendola had a p easy td but caught it weird with his fingertips then dropped it, that one kinda slays me more than the flag even, but w/e the pats were not really that good this year and got totally owned by the broncos #namaste

i looked at the seahawks opponents and get this: not only are they the DENVER BRONCOS they have PEYTON MANNING at qb, so now like the owners of the 100 seahawks hats i have seen in the past week in boston, i am suddenly the world's biggest seattle fan

btw i was going to say re amendola that in the one game he was fit he was an absolute beast, and them i remembered that was the game he injured himself in and played the 2nd half hurt. he was fit in zero games this season. but seriously, he made some sick completions across the middle in traffic in that week 1 game.
― Roberto Spiralli, Friday, 24 January 2014 15:51 (ten years ago) link
ya he was def chronically hobbled this year
― puple prijan (lag∞n), Friday, 24 January 2014 15:52 (ten years ago) link
woah nick caserio interviewing at miami. that is surprising to say the least.
― Roberto Spiralli, Friday, 24 January 2014 17:27 (ten years ago) link
i kinda forgot amendola even played for the patriots. i think brady kinda forgot too.
as for picked-up penalty flags and other what-ifs, i'm not sure any of it really mattered. they were way too hobbled and thoroughly outplayed last week.
― fact checking cuz, Friday, 24 January 2014 18:28 (ten years ago) link
yeah, I couldn't get upset about the loss to Denver because it was such a thorough thrashing. It would've been much more difficult if the game was close in any way, shape, or form.

this guy can't get a break!!!!!!
HARTFORD, Conn. A man who alleges he was shot in the face by former New England Patriots tight end Aaron Hernandez in Florida was shot again, this time outside a Connecticut nightclub, where he then opened fire, police said Monday.
Alexander Bradley was shot multiple times in the right thigh Sunday night outside the Vevo Lounge Bar & Grill in Hartford's South Meadows neighborhood and was taken to a hospital under police guard, police Lt. Brian Foley said. His condition wasn't released, but he's expected to survive.
Police haven't announced any arrests.
"Evidence revealed there was a disturbance in the club that was pushed outside by staff," Foley said. "At this point, Bradley was shot. Bradley went to a vehicle, got a gun, then shot up the front of the club."
No injuries were reported.
Responding police officers stopped a car that sped away from the club, and an injured Bradley got out and fell on the street, Foley said. No charges against Bradley were announced.
Bradley's Connecticut lawyer, Robert Pickering, hung up the phone on a reporter without commenting Monday.

steve gregory being released. i wonder if they will be bringing him back on the cheap. i kind of like him back there, even tho it seems like he will whiff badly once a game on a tackle or a coverage. but he is pretty replaceable surely, and $2.5m or w/e he is due next year certainly seems too much.
― Roberto Spiralli, Friday, 28 February 2014 19:27 (ten years ago) link
is it really $2.5? yikes.
he must be an incredibly smart player who can stay in position most of the time, because when he's caught out of position he barely looks like a football player.
― call all destroyer, Friday, 28 February 2014 19:39 (ten years ago) link
iirc reiss likes him. smart, first step in his head type of player. but there is a guy with a $1m salary ceiling if ever i saw one.
― Roberto Spiralli, Friday, 28 February 2014 19:58 (ten years ago) link
reports out that amendola will be traded or cut. i guess they're already paying a lot of money for one pass catcher who's injured half the season, two is decadent. kinda sad that didn't work out. there were flashes of what might have been, if too rarely
