FOXBOROUGH, Mass. -- New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady, who earlier this year had a hat with the “Make America Great Again” slogan of Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump in his locker, was asked Tuesday morning during his weekly interview on sports radio WEEI if he’s supporting Trump’s candidacy.

“Can I just stay out of this debate?” Brady said, laughing. “Donald is a good friend of mine. I’ve known him for a long time. I support all my friends, that’s what I have to say.

"He’s a great friend of mine. He’s always been so supportive of me for the last 15 years since I judged a beauty pageant for him, which was one of the very first things I did that I thought was really cool that came along with winning the Super Bowl. He’s always invited me to play golf and I’ve always enjoyed his company.

“I support all my friends in everything they do. I think it’s pretty remarkable what he’s achieved in his life, going from business, an incredible businessman, then a TV star, and then getting into politics. That’s three different career paths.”

When told that his remarks could be viewed as him endorsing Trump over other candidates, Brady laughed.

“This is really important to you guys, huh?” he said, not directly answering the question.

I've had this confirmed on Chandler Jones. We're not talking about a drug that was prescribed by a pharmacist or team medical personnel.

Roberto Spiralli, Wednesday, 13 January 2016 21:13 (eight years ago) link

ends with a lol

Christopher Gasper ‏@cgasper 10m10 minutes ago
Source with knowledge of the situation confirms it was synthetic marijuana that caused Chandler Jones' bad reaction and hospitalization.

Is synthetic pot legal or what? I don't even know, also don't know nfl's position on it

Check Yr Scrobbles (Moodles), Thursday, 14 January 2016 00:52 (eight years ago) link

prob some types have been outlawed some places but it takes a while for state governments to get around to each new one so yeah its basically legal

When the officer first saw Jones, he noted that the man was not wearing a shirt.

“This black male subject had a muscular build, he was easily over six feet tall, and he had a noticeably large ‘wing span,’ ” Foscaldo wrote.

Jones approached the police station, Foscaldo wrote, and began to move strangely.

“Without any warning or provocation, this man got down on his knees, he interlocked his fingers, and he placed his hands tightly against the back of his head. For a quick second or two, this man held this position - it was like this man was trying to surrender (he was literally ‘as stiff as a board’/he was both upright and rigid.”

Next, the officer wrote, Jones moved slowly toward the ground: “Honestly, it appeared as if he was actively praying or worshiping.”

lying in bed last night couldn't remember drew bledsoe's name. refused to let myself sleep until i did; refused to look it up on my phone right next to the bed. felt like hours, probably 45 minutes.

tbrr, Bledsoe had his great moments. The only NFL game I ever went to was Bledsoe vs. Marino at Schaefer stadium the year the Pats went to the SB against GB. Bledsoe broke a finger during that game but still managed to beat Miami. It was probably the single most exciting event of my life.
