cards @ seattle is obv the marquee game altho in terms of entertainment probably it will end with something resembling a soccer score. bengals @ texans is interesting, could be significant for the afc wildcard and maybe houston is actually good nowravens @ saints is maybe a pretty good monday night? saints seem to be somewhere between not good and horrible and ravens between okay and very good. maybe we find out, could be close or not a contest depending.

NE right now looks two steps ahead of the rest of the league. Their defense is the difference. They have beaten pretty much everyone that is good, handily. AZ is good but they are going with a backup QB from here out and I just don't quite trust Green Bay as their defense has had a knack of getting really weak late in the season. They could get beat, but I think NE is just a big step up on the rest as of now.

Belichick: "I'm sure there was a lot of frustration there from Raiola ... has never beat us. Had a tough day in there dealing with Wilfork and Hightower and those guys. I'd say it was frustration. We saw a lot of that at the end of the game. Whitehead on Blount's touchdown. Mosley on personal foul on the field goal."

guys plz help me - i'm down 21.79 in my money fantasy league and i have Nick Folk still to go at kicker and one of Steve Smith Sr or Kenny Stills. who of those two receivers do u think give me the best shot at winning?
― Mordy, Monday, 24 November 2014 15:27 (ten years ago)
.5 ppr league if that helps
― Mordy, Monday, 24 November 2014 15:28 (ten years ago)
either guy could go off because neither of these teams can really defend the pass right now and it's in the dome. steve smith has really just disappeared tho afaict. so while it's not like kenny stills is lightning anyone up regularly i would still go for him.
― Roberto Spiralli, Monday, 24 November 2014 15:33 (ten years ago)

gruden seems to be trying to force snyder to pick between him and rg3, which is quite a gamble given how much sunk cost is invested in rg3. in fact, it almost seems like gruden already knew from day one that he didn't want griffin and has been using this season as leverage to detach him from the club. from what i read they've been played a pretty straightforward offense with him, giving him no opportunity to add the extra value that he used to, but maybe the injuries really have diminished what he can do anyway. however you try to parse it it is am amazing mess. what a terrible football organization this continues to be.

There's absolutely no fear of the long ball any more. In other NFC South news, Matt Ryan is having a terrible year. He looked awful against the Browns. Havent even checked the numbers on him, this is purely eye-test.

^gruden seems pretty confident that snyder's not gonna can two coaches in two years because of a guy of RGIII's caliber.
