This result is why Division I needed a playoff format and TCU is why the NCAA should expand the field to eight, using Conference championships as the criterion for punching your ticket to the dance... except, get your act together Big 12 and figure out a tie-breaker for chrissakes. Co-champions? Not an option.

Today I read a comment by an oregon player calling ohio state "the fastest team in the country". I am pretty sure he wasn't thinking about cardale jones when he said that.

is a really fascinating game, osu is trying to be really conservative/risk-averse on offense and it is mostly working really well, yet is still turning the ball over like crazy

I gotta say, the Ducks still had a fabulous season, and their finishing ahead of Alabama and crushing FSU to get to Arlington and the big game still tastes pretty sweet, regardless of the bitter minutes that got mixed in there toward the end.

it was the offensive line I'm telling you. the osu offensive line were blocking like mofos and would not be denied. ez elliot and cardale jones should buy them all something nice because those gaudy stats they put up were 80% due to the o-line's great work.
