Cincy so far controlling the Raiders!

they were written with a ouija board and a rhyming dictionary (Neanderthal), Saturday, 15 January 2022 22:31 (three years ago)

lotta cocky Patriots fans talking about how this matchup is a blessing in disguise, as it's again a cold weather match in Buffalo, and they'll clearly win like last time.

55 mph winds last time. it's 8 mph wind right now there. you can throw in that.

Lotta officiating in this game!

Glad that bogus roughing the passer call at the end didn’t affect the outcome. Congrats, kitties.

Three Rings for the Elven Bishop (Dan Peterson), Sunday, 16 January 2022 01:00 (three years ago)

Really looked like the stars were aligning for the Raiders but not taking the tie and letting fucking Ben Roethlisberger into the playoffs is just too much negative karma to overcome

frogbs, Sunday, 16 January 2022 01:05 (three years ago)

Derek Carr's inability to get the ball snapped prior to time expiring had a lot to do with their plight, why they had one timeout.

GO BILLS

horseshoe, Sunday, 16 January 2022 01:06 (three years ago)

(it makes me nervous when the commentators pick us to win)

one of my best friends from high school is picking the Patsies which just about guarantees a Bills win

horseshoe, Sunday, 16 January 2022 01:23 (three years ago)

Mac is having to try to carry this all by himself.
Would be nice if the rest of the Pats' offense would show up to play.

Bills and Bungles gonna win playoff games in the same day? The apocalypse is nigh.

frogbs, Sunday, 16 January 2022 02:40 (three years ago)

Mostly I’m just happy for Joe Pera

frogbs, Sunday, 16 January 2022 03:04 (three years ago)

I hate the Bills for obv reasons but there are three AFC teams wetting themselves at this moment

SO HAPPY YOU GUYS

horseshoe, Sunday, 16 January 2022 04:12 (three years ago)

well that was a paddlin'

mookieproof, Sunday, 16 January 2022 04:13 (three years ago)

it does make one wonder how in the fuck the bills lost (9-6!) to jacksonville

mookieproof, Sunday, 16 January 2022 04:21 (three years ago)

dude the Bills have played like ass so many times this season. Our offensive line seems to have figured something out in the last three weeks.

horseshoe, Sunday, 16 January 2022 04:22 (three years ago)

Bills seem like they might be better than people think - all 11 of their wins were by double digits and all but one of their losses was by 7 or less. They have the best point differential in the league.

frogbs, Sunday, 16 January 2022 04:27 (three years ago)

they are really talented on both sides of the ball, but the offense self destructed a bunch of times this season. Defense has been legit all year.

horseshoe, Sunday, 16 January 2022 04:29 (three years ago)

they kinda remind me of the Packers when they won it all in 2010, they feel untrustworthy but all the metrics really seem to like them. Pats had the 3rd best point differential, beating them by a zillion is no small deal

frogbs, Sunday, 16 January 2022 04:39 (three years ago)

yeah guess it was just their day

Josh Allen says he was trying to throw the ball away on the first TD throw to Dawson Knox. He got up and started walking back to the huddle after the play with no idea what happened. Said he couldn’t figure out why people were celebrating and had to keep asking about the play.

— Alaina Getzenberg (@agetzenberg) January 16, 2022

frogbs, Sunday, 16 January 2022 05:00 (three years ago)

Bills imo

horseshoe, Sunday, 16 January 2022 15:43 (three years ago)

never having played, I always wondered what it was like to be a QB, like, if you get hit or brought down as you throw, how soon do you know *exactly* what happened? obviously the crowd clues you in as to whether you scored/got a big gain as there are levels, but I always felt like I'd start jumping up and down and celebrating a TD and my WR buddies would come over and be like "slow your roll, we only got to the goal line".

they were written with a ouija board and a rhyming dictionary (Neanderthal), Sunday, 16 January 2022 16:28 (three years ago)

Holy shit has this really never been done

The Buffalo Bills just had the NFL’s first ever perfect offensive game.

No punts. No picks. No fumbles lost. No field goals. All touchdowns on every single drive until the kneel downs.

And they did it against a top five defense.

horseshoe, Sunday, 16 January 2022 20:14 (three years ago)

feel like we may wait a good while before a 7 seed beats a 2 seed

there are only so many good teams each season

mookieproof, Sunday, 16 January 2022 20:19 (three years ago)

frogbs, Sunday, 16 January 2022 20:28 (three years ago)

Go Rams

Bee OK, Sunday, 30 January 2022 23:38 (three years ago)

Haven't actively followed pro ball for a few years now, though I kinda wish I'd watched last week's games. We're 50% of the way to the Burrow/Stafford super bowl I'd tune in for, though, so go Rams.

Ⓓⓡ. (Johnny Fever), Sunday, 30 January 2022 23:46 (three years ago)

no discredit to cincy, kc gave me a real playing w their food vibe that game… from not getting pts at the end of the first half to mahomes holding the ball soo loong several times idk im sure the coverage was good but he needed to not try to make the perfect play and just let his best playmakers make a play… the coaching is def to blame as well

johnny crunch, Sunday, 30 January 2022 23:52 (three years ago)

Yeah Chiefs final play of the 1st half was some galaxy brain Mike McCarthy shit

frogbs, Monday, 31 January 2022 00:02 (three years ago)

Burrow was not throwing a pick come on

you're probably right but he sure looked wild and wobbly towards the end of regulation

Guayaquil (eephus!), Monday, 31 January 2022 00:05 (three years ago)

Stephen A is on one right now

See what I’m saying, @danorlovsky7. This dude Stafford is very difficult to trust man. Why in the hell would he throw that pass. This is what I’m talking about man. He’d better not lose to know damn Porn Star Jimmy!

So happy for Cincinnati. I have no real horse in this second race, but SF have my thanks for keeping Green Bay out of this, so let’s go Niners.

can't really quibble with either team winning. though obv I'll pull for the team that's never won over the Rams, but that Rams team that won was like 22 years ago

he's very big in the region of my butthole (Neanderthal), Monday, 31 January 2022 02:38 (three years ago)

that was one of the weirdest looking game-ending plays I've ever seen

frogbs, Monday, 31 January 2022 02:38 (three years ago)

so after 50+ years of it never happening, two consecutive Super Bowls played on one of the team's home fields.

1993 Bills
2001 Pats
2011 Giants
