Vince Young obviously the tragic story here, really looked like a guy who was going to put it together, but fell out of love with the game quickly when he realized what a cesspool the NFL can be, esp fanbases. was happy when he got Comeback Player of the year. Still, never really had a 'great' season, but made the Pro Bowl twice (albeit in 2006 as a replacement).
Matt Leinart is the biggest loser on the list. everybody said he'd be the one to succeed on the field first because he ran a "pro-style offense" in college, didn't have a good rookie season but showed some moments, and you thought he might make the leap in year two, and instead he was lazy and just assumed everybody would cup his balls if he put in the bare minimum. spoiled entitled dork.
Cutler's own career was kneecapped by his head coach. He became a running meme in later years, and I hated the year he QBed my fins, but he looked like he had the best start of this entire class, only to have McDaniel utterly ruin his relationship with him by being stupid and causing him to demand a trade. I think that whole incident wrecked his headspace because he was bad to mediocre in Chicago. I don't think he ever would have been a Rodgers or anything, but perhaps second-tier level.
I remember Tavaris Jackson having a decent journeyman career. might be a candidate for winner.
Bruce Gradkowski is funny, basically never played as much as he did in his rookie year.
Brad Smith was funny cos lol Jets. they wanted him to be the next Randle-El but had no tools to use him that way. only threw 10 passes in his career, two picked off. mostly acted as a receiver, used in wildcat. god I'm glad wildcat is gone.
half my fellow fin Fans wanted Miami to take Brodie Croyle, as you can see dude never had a ceiling. fucker couldn't even unseat Damon Huard at first.

gotta be Smokin Jay for entertainment value alone. He’s sort of a shitkicker Jeff George or cut-rate Testaverse who was somehow less of a malign influence on his teams than George and never as bad as Vinny at his worst, despite being a thorough disappointment.
