Why does Marv Levy only have 4 fingers.

That last Super Bowl was supposed to be one for a thumb.

after he retired he got into the competitive speed skating scene and mistakenly thought loping off his thumbs would reduce his coefficient of drag.

Fox is pretty sad when it comes to hyping games, when you call a matchup of two clubs that missed the playoffs last season in week five "game of the year".

That is about as lame as their "the biggest stories in the NFL are in the NFC and the NFC is on Fox" crap from a couple of years ago.

Earl Nash (earlnash), Saturday, 7 October 2006 05:26 (nineteen years ago)

"...and Fox is on your television and your television is in your living room and your living room is in your house and your house is on Earth and the Earth houses the NFL... WHICH IS ON FOX."

Forksclovetofu (Forksclovetofu), Saturday, 7 October 2006 06:43 (nineteen years ago)

the game wasn't even very interesting.

With the Bengals on a break last week for a booze and hooker run, so the Colts was the local game around here. Indy's run defense is the worse than they have had in a few years, they cannot stop diddley squat.

Up until a year or so ago, the Titans always played the Colts real tight and Fishers seemed to come up with schemes that slowed down Manning. It was working again yesterday, as the Colts would be able to move the ball a bit but not score. They had a couple of turnovers that cut down on the points.

you kiddin'? it was miles better than the jets blowout on cbs. :/

hstencil (hstencil), Monday, 9 October 2006 23:51 (nineteen years ago)

the titans scored on a 80+ yard drive that was ALL RUNNING PLAYS. this colts run defense is epic in its badness.

fergie-ferg meluvulongtime~~~ (Adrian Langston), Tuesday, 10 October 2006 01:47 (nineteen years ago)

Hahahaha being better than a Jets game isn't really great praise, dude, so I give my sympathies that you got stuck with that nonsenes.

I know Parcells is friendsies with Bledsoe from a billion years ago, but I think the stubborness that used to work to his advantage is working against him now. Throw Romo in and just see what happens, for fuck's sake!

Johnny Fever (johnny fever), Tuesday, 10 October 2006 03:03 (nineteen years ago)

that pick that rofflesberger threw (the second one) was pure favre

mookieproof (mookieproof), Tuesday, 10 October 2006 13:49 (nineteen years ago)

The problem for Roffelsberger is that when Favre was his age he would sometimes throw those crazy ass passes for TDs. As much as I have gotten tired of hearing people go on about Favre, the dude was pretty fun to watch in his day, especially when he would throw one of those crazy ass underhand passes and somehow it would work out.

Earl Nash (earlnash), Wednesday, 11 October 2006 23:42 (nineteen years ago)

"Watching Terrell Owens act like a spoiled baby in times when he didn't get the ball Sunday against the Eagles was so typical of him. To yell "Why am I here?" to a Cowboys coach was inexcusable."

DAMN I wanna punch John Clayton in the nuts. He look like a big homonculus with glasses.

Haikunym (Haikunym), Thursday, 12 October 2006 00:35 (nineteen years ago)

True but that shit about T.O. is kind of OTM. He got more passes thrown his way than anyone else on the field last week! Dallas has a system in place--does he really expect they're going to change the whole thing to cater to him? A) What a terrific idea, let's throw the ball to you EVERY PLAY you egomaniacial douchebag. No way will a half-decent defense catch onto that great decision making! B) Don't drop three in a row and maybe you'll get even more! I mean Bledsoe ain't exactly good, you gotta make the ones that get into yer hands COUNT.

If I was any member of the Cowboys coaching staff, I'd point out next time he screams WHY AM I HERE at them that none of them wanted him, and to go scream at Jerry Jones for a while, see how far that gets him.

Allyzay lives aprox. 200 feet away from a stadium (allyzay), Thursday, 12 October 2006 13:23 (nineteen years ago)

I can't believe I'm defending the Cowboys. T.O. needs to be banned. He's ruining the entire world.

Allyzay lives aprox. 200 feet away from a stadium (allyzay), Thursday, 12 October 2006 13:23 (nineteen years ago)

I kind of hate him but I kind of love him too. But John Clayton's insufferable superego(t)ism really bugs me on a whole different level. He is the Joe Buck of ESPN, with the moralism and the non-having-played-ism and the stupidism and the respect-for-no-reason-ism. How much of a numbnuts do you have to be to get pwned by SEAN SALISBURY STEAK, is my question.

Haikunym (Haikunym), Thursday, 12 October 2006 13:43 (nineteen years ago)

Oh no, don't get me wrong, I am not saying you're wrong about Clayton. I want to make that expressly clear.
