zThom Brady has a lazy eye?

TROGDOR (Mr.Que), Tuesday, 31 October 2006 19:09 (nineteen years ago)

HA! I think the Manning brothers are both kind of adorable. Michael Vick is good-looking, but gives a hella boring post-game interview. Ben Roethlisberger looks upsettingly like Ben Affleck in that photo, but he looks much better usually, I think.

Matt Leinart dates Paris Hilton, which gives one pause. I do think he's technically cuter than Tom Brady, though: dimples. Also, he doesn't have a pre-pubertal voice.

Dude, I know it's been said many times, many ways, but Brett Favre got so old! He used to be cute, in a mean-looking way.

Not a QB, but I think the best-looking pro football player ever is Andre Reed. ridiculous photo: http://www.freshstart.org/uploads/images/regular/226.jpg I was in love with him when I was 12. I saw him in real life once, and he was surprisingly huge.

I will have to think on this question more deeply.

horseshoe (horseshoe), Tuesday, 31 October 2006 19:19 (nineteen years ago)

lk fixed, sorry. I just...didn't know who their qb was, I'll admit it.

Michael Vick is remarkably better looking whenever I GIS him (which isn't really often, admittedly) than I ever remember him looking on TV. Which is odd. Eli Manning is completely adorable, even in that pic above, but quite a few of these players did not put their best face forward for these mugshots.

Allyzay Eisenschefter (allyzay), Tuesday, 31 October 2006 19:22 (nineteen years ago)

Also pretty much all of the Bills during that era were pretty good looking, I dunno what happened to them.

Allyzay Eisenschefter (allyzay), Tuesday, 31 October 2006 19:22 (nineteen years ago)

I was just about to post that, Ally! I grew up in Buffalo, and Reed, Thurman Thomas and Bruce Smith were all pretty much beautiful. it was nice. up until the point at the end of each season when they all broke my heart.

Jim Kelly: not so hot, though.

gear (gear), Tuesday, 31 October 2006 19:26 (nineteen years ago)

He started balding real early, yet one of many with the syndrome I like to call "Hasselbecking." Bruce Smith had the best smile in the NFL all-time until the Barber Brothers Cloning Experiment occurred.

PS Trent Green looks like a jockey in that picture up there.

xpost I know! Half of these pictures are insane, they don't even really look like the dudes. This must be the NFL version of driver's licence photos. Rex Grossman, though, always looks like that.

Allyzay Eisenschefter (allyzay), Tuesday, 31 October 2006 19:27 (nineteen years ago)

losman looks like a mug shot of an "accused marine". rex grossman looks like he's straight out of a 1930s film, having just stepped out of makeup, getting ready to play a comedic character called "wang chin".

I guess I'd do David Carr.

We had a company Christmas party once at a hotel in town, and a bunch of the Packers were there doing some kind of charity thing (bye week?). Anyway, my wife saw Sterling Sharpe there, back when he was all buff and still playing, and immediately fell in semi-lust with him. But she still stayed with me because I am nice and her baby-daddy. On Saturday, Nov. 4 (9:00-10:00 PM ET/PT), former NFL quarterback Bernie Kosar works with AMW to help find the person responsible for the murder of Charles Scott White.

Quarterback hook-ups that never were. I friend of mine who is from Pittsburgh literally bumped into Roffles when she turned around on the dancefloor. Roffle's bodyguard pulled her away by the arm just as she realized who it was. The bodyguard then threatened to have her thrown out of the club.

Funny thing is she doesn't care that much about football and is the last person on earth to become a stalker.

Now may other friend, well she would have blow him right there on the dancefloor.

hearditonthexico (rogermexico), Monday, 13 November 2006 00:48 (nineteen years ago)

OK so this weekend I was watching "Plastic Surgery: Before and After," as I am wont to do as I love to see the juxtaposition of horrible, sad stories of disfigured children and cancer-survivors fixing their lives up against terrible whores who spend five minutes straight discussing their non-titties and how they need D cups to be better strippers. I hope the strippers and Vegas dancers are bright enough in some way that when they watch the show and see their story put up against some child with scoliosis so severe she is going to die without surgery, they are ashamed of themselves (I don't have much hope though). So anyway, the heart-string story on the show this week was these two four-year-old boys with some congenital defect that fused their skull together too early, so they had really narrow heads with severely protruding foreheads. They get surgery to fix this and make their skull normal. A) WHOA THEY ACTUALLY SHOWED THEM RIPPING THE KIDS' SCALPS OFF AND CUTTING THEIR BONES OUT WAHT B) after surgery was completed and they were fairly normalish though a little light-bulby, Tom smiles and says, "This is a good story, that surgery was successful. Now they look like Peyton Manning." And I thought but did not say, whoa dude, harsh.

Allyzay Eisenschefter (allyzay), Monday, 13 November 2006 00:59 (nineteen years ago)

The little boys who would die of brain-squeeze (forget the technical term for this) were juxtaposed against a Polynesian Vegas hula-dancer who got kind of cartoony implants because, as she repeated about 73 times, her "coconuts had big gaps between the nipples and the coconuts."

Allyzay Eisenschefter (allyzay), Monday, 13 November 2006 01:02 (nineteen years ago)

So the nipples just kinda floated in space a few inches ahead of her?

hearditonthexico (rogermexico), Monday, 13 November 2006 01:19 (nineteen years ago)

Hhahalhakha god. I don't have the stomach for those shows. I remember one time I watched some of "I Want A Famous Face" on MTV and they showed this poor, dumb broad who wanted to look like Britney spears or something - they basically cut off her whole face and afterwards it showed her being carted around and she is weeping and screaming about the pain because, hey, she has a new face stitched on.

get yr coat luv uve jes bin pulld (Adrian Langston), Monday, 13 November 2006 01:22 (nineteen years ago)

ha! whateva, I think Peyton Manning's cute.

I think those shows are a good idea, even if I can't stomach them because hopefully they'll convince people who want cosmetic surgery but don't need it not to get it.

horseshoe (horseshoe), Monday, 13 November 2006 01:34 (nineteen years ago)

Peyton Manning IS adorable. I love watching the plastic surgery shows, I have a sick fascination with that. Also the shows about people getting sex changes. Shit is GRAPHIC.

Allyzay Eisenschefter (allyzay), Monday, 13 November 2006 03:53 (nineteen years ago)

The best is when they have these really dumb, pretty old women who live in LA. It's like, ok, remove your face and put on a new one. You're still A) old B) being shown on the same show as a woman who had her FACE SHOT OFF BY HER PSYCHO BOYFRIEND and some doctor is charitably giving her a new face, because he can afford to do free surgery what with dumb LA old women getting their faces replaced for $8,000,000 a pop. I really always hope very much that these people on the show who are getting ass implants or new faces are shamed when they are shown on the same episode as faceless abuse victims and dying children but I know they aren't. What I do honestly hope is what horseshoe said; that people considering it are kind of embarassed FOR these people and don't go ahead with the surgery.

Allyzay Eisenschefter (allyzay), Monday, 13 November 2006 04:00 (nineteen years ago)

I'm serious about the woman with her entire face shot off, by the way. That was incredibly awful, I have no idea how she survived this and I couldn't stop watching because I wanted to find out how they were going to fix this.

Allyzay Eisenschefter (allyzay), Monday, 13 November 2006 04:01 (nineteen years ago)

yeah, exactly, Ally. seeing cosmetic surgery used for serious purposes: reconstructing shot-off faces, saving little kids from brain-squeeze, up against getting a "famous face" or a boob job or whatever really does put the whole thing in perspective. Whenever I hear about people going under the knife to make their noses smaller or whatever, I'm seriously flabbergasted. Like, do they realize that surgery=CUTTING UP YOUR BODY? I have to conclude that people really don't realize that. So, yeah, those plastic surgery shows are fighting the good fight.

horseshoe (horseshoe), Monday, 13 November 2006 04:31 (nineteen years ago)
