Nice to see, but can't we draft actual defensive players? That was missing last year and I'd like to have it back (no pun intended).

Sure I can change that up.

I added 1 DB and 1 DL position. I've never played with individual defensive players before, so this should be fun. I just kept all of the settings the same as last year originally, except I changed some of the points and the playoff system. (All td's are now 7 instead of 6, playoffs are 3 weeks, but include 6 teams...)

Why are TDs 7? Making it really TD-based is sort of sucky I feel, 'cos they're basically luck - I'd rather see them at 3 or 4?

Also that would give people a chance outside whatever ends up being the RB big three, if the LDT weren't posting 18 points more than your replacement-level Warrick Dunns every week or whatever?

i dont think i'm gonna roll wit fantasy football this season, i kinda hated it last year. fantasy beisbol is a lot cooler, even though the sport itself is vastly inferior to futbol.

No hardcoreness required. You can even let it autodraft for you if you don't wanna sit through a live draft. It would be nice if you hung around the whole season, though, in case someone wants to make a trade with you or something.

I think a four-week mini fantasy league for the playoffs would be awesome. New draft on the Mon.-Wed. before the first game, and major risk-reward decisions to be made regarding drafting from the teams you think will be in the Super Bowl vs. drafting high-achievers on risky teams. Four or six teams per league, fewer players per roster, winner determined by total points.

Well, roll that shit out.

Yeah, it's too late for this year. But I think it would be doable! It could be a bit of a pain to keep up with the numbers, though. (Solution: Player A keeps the game stats for Player B, who keeps stats for Player C, etc. Everybody's got somebody checking their math.)
