Take Sides: Does Terrell Davis belong in the Hall of Fame?

Argument for: In the 4 years Davis was in his prime before his injury, he had two Super Bowl rings, a league MVP, a 2000 yard season, and was basically unstoppable.
1995: 1117 yards, 7 TDs
1996: 1538 yards, 13 TDs
1997: 1750 yards, 15 TDs
1998: 2008 yards, 21 TDs

Argument against: He only had 4 big seasons. And he did it in Denver, where every RB puts up huge numbers under Shanahan.

This is the age-old HOF debate: Does a player who was incredibly dominant for a short time deserve to get in? Or do you have to prove it over the long haul, 8+ seasons?

My vote: YES, 1st ballot. Especially since Earl Campbell and Gayle Sayers are in, who both had injury-shortened careers.

Anyone who can play ballgames while suffering from migraines deserves an automatic in.
