― Stormy Davis, Tuesday, 18 September 2007 04:30 (eighteen years ago)
i can't even fucking watch sportscenter anymore
― omar little, Tuesday, 18 September 2007 04:31 (eighteen years ago)
ESPN should really hire the "Jimmy Key? What's he, 45?" kid and have him host Sportscenter with a drunk Rick Sutcliffe and a gorilla that knows sign language.
I apologize for the two MLB references in my post. :(
― David R., Tuesday, 18 September 2007 04:33 (eighteen years ago)
Also: why were you GISing "stable boy", Mod?
― David R., Tuesday, 18 September 2007 04:34 (eighteen years ago)
He said that pillow thing last week too! I thought it was clever then, now it sounds like he's reaching.
― Johnny Fever, Tuesday, 18 September 2007 04:37 (eighteen years ago)

― mookieproof, Tuesday, 18 September 2007 04:50 (eighteen years ago)
on sunday i was wondering if there was a more ineptly produced pre-game show than football night in america but man the espn stuff is just brutal now. keyshawn, parcells and emmitt (ESPECIALLY EMMITT) just stumbled thru the whole thing. also i want irvin back :( irvin + parcells + keyshawn would be the greatest assemblage of football minds in television history
also i want tirico kornheiser stu scott boomer and tom jackson to get fukkin shivved~~
― cankles, Tuesday, 18 September 2007 04:54 (eighteen years ago)

um yeah hence the 1999 comment
Emmitt is brutal. 20 years of dealing with the media, and that's your game Emmitt? please.
"Football Night in that there USA" was actually pretty good due to the GOODELL INTERVIEW!
― Stormy Davis, Tuesday, 18 September 2007 05:11 (eighteen years ago)
I guess I've missed it all these years. I only see SC during football season, and even then I hardly ever watch a whole episode because they ruin it with baseball and basketball shit.
― Johnny Fever, Tuesday, 18 September 2007 05:14 (eighteen years ago)
sc is only ruined when women's sports are featured.
― hstencil, Tuesday, 18 September 2007 05:15 (eighteen years ago)
sc is only ruined when they don't show actual sports /mtvwhining
― Jimmy The Mod Awaits The Return Of His Beloved, Tuesday, 18 September 2007 15:05 (eighteen years ago)
ack. that espn pregame WAS brutal. obvioulsy, i'm biased the other direction, but the produced pro-philly hype was amazing. not that anyone could have looked at the skins last week and thought they'd roll over the eagles, but one out of, like, 7 espn analysts picked the skins over the eagles? did anyone see how terrible they looked against the packers? yeesh.
espn is worthless in all other respects. it's motto should be "the sports network for people who hate sports."

split the difference between our two statements, jimmymod.

― hstencil, Wednesday, 19 September 2007 04:24 (eighteen years ago)
OK ESPN, I KNOW YOUR PARENT COMPANY PAID A LOT OF MONIES FOR YOU TO SHOW AMERICAN FOOTBALL ON MONDAY NIGHTS, BUT THERE IS ANOTHER SPORT GOING INTO THE FUCKING PLAYOFFS RIGHT NOW, AND THIS IS ONLY A WEEK FOR MATCHUP THAT FIVE YEAR-OLDS ALL OVER THE WORLD HAVE ALREADY CALLED CORRECTLY AFTER WEEK TWO.
PLEASE LEAD WITH THE ROCKIES D'BAX SCORE.
OR NOT.
FUCK YOU.
