i immediately moved him up in my fantasy draft queue.

I mean, it isn't like the Chargers have a bad run defense. Jamal Williams wasn't 100%, but he was still out there.

he's the best back in football right now, that's weird to say for a guy that is only halfway through his first season. but damn it's so awesome to watch him every sunday.

the idea that drafting peterson =/= winning games is faulty as fuck.

like obv they are gonna draft a qb in the first round this year. i doubt andre woodson or brohm— or shit a qb in the 2nd rd (like schaub)— is going to be any better/worse than schaub.

lol I was thinking of exactly that when I posted, but I had a clean look and had to take the shot.

I still submit that they might have won a couple games more this year with Schaub throwing and C. Taylor running behind that line, but they'd be a far less exciting and promising team. Anyway, I hear McNabb may be coming available... Randy Moss, too...

because every single dude they've ever let go was deemed, and was basically in all cases, "replaceable". i don't think pioli's ego is so big that they would deem moss "replaceable" (and, let's face it, next to peyton he is the most irreplaceable player in the league right now), or not pay him even if they knew they couldn't get a better player for him.

they got him at the number they placed on him. he took a hometown discount, made FAR less than manning despite having more rings. moss will probably have a huge number but some other team will go apeshit over him and the pats will not make exceptions.

it's not about ego, it's about operating a business. everyone is replaceable. and inevitably they will be replaced.
