Vince Young is .. "the best Quarterback I've ever seen" .. "since Roger Staubach"

Now... If USC won this ONE GAME ... and Matt Leinart threw for 300, what would good ol Lee's tune have been?

If the Texans take Vince Young when they have a million salient needs to address AND David Carr ("the best college quarterback I've ever seen...since Tim Couch!") essentially based on said ONE GAME, they're kind of insane. Wasn't there speculation Young would get converted to a wideout cf. Randle-El or something, anyway?

It isn't like Bevo the Longhorn would go first in the National Mascot League draft based on his performance tonight.

who is the top wr in this draft class? by which i mean who do the lions take?

Jams Murphy (ystrickler), Thursday, 5 January 2006 14:12 (nineteen years ago)

Santonio Holmes (Ohio State) is a first rounder, there may be better tho.

laurence kansas (lawrence kansas), Thursday, 5 January 2006 14:17 (nineteen years ago)

So does Troy Smith come out early for Ohio State?

I don't think Vince Young will pass Reggie Bush for the top pick, but if I was a GM, I'd be tempted to take Young over Leinart.

earlnash, Thursday, 5 January 2006 17:36 (nineteen years ago)

I think Troy needs another year, he "split" the QB job the last two years with bust Justin Zwick.

laurence kansas (lawrence kansas), Thursday, 5 January 2006 18:18 (nineteen years ago)

yeah i'd be very surprised if troy comes out

j blount (papa la bas), Thursday, 5 January 2006 19:04 (nineteen years ago)

i'd take young over leinart in a heartbeat
