Post here if you think it's someone other than the Chargers, or to rub in how much the Chargers suck.

the problem is that there's always the lions, but i am personally embarrassed by how i went around crowing about how the bills were going to run through the afc east like water through a sieve circa week 6.

Aside from the Giants win, the most memorable aspect of this season was the Buffalonian in his Bills crocs.

Actually now that I think about it, the answer is the Raiders. At least the Lions fired Millen.

-- If you are wondering why the Raiders organization is so screwed up under Al Davis, try this on. In my consulting work, I do lots of coaching search work for colleges and NFL teams. The University of Tennessee interviewed former Raiders coach Lane Kiffin for their opening and none other than Al Davis is using all his contacts to call to bad mouth Kiffin to the University Administrators and boosters. When I got word of this from my Tennessee sources, I contacted my Raiders contacts and a member of their player personnel department who speaks with Davis daily told me that Davis is spending more time worrying about where Kiffin might end up rather than focusing on fixing his problems in Raiderland. I have knowc Al Davis for some time and it pains me to say this but he has become nothing but a vindictive, bitter old man who has become an embarrassment to himself, the Raiders and the NFL.

-- It's also interesting to note that Davis is Cowboys owner Jerry Jones’ idol. Not many people answer Davis' calls anymore but Jones is one of the few that do. No wonder that a circus-like atmosphere constantly exists at Valley Ranch. Coaches there tell me that it's never just about football and preparing but always a marketing angle. According to them, there is always some something going on for promotions of the new stadium during practice. When your owner who knows nothing about football has that much influence over the football operation, you are doomed. Thankfully, Bill Parcells set them up well because the longer they get away from his regime, the worse they will be.

---- The word around the league is that the Lions are not going to make any moves in the front office this off season. So, the same folks who have gives us this Lions team will be the ones to rebuild it?

THE SAME FOLKS WHO HAVE GIVES US

I don't really think anyone around the league really knows what's going to happen. Ford is a bit unpredictable. I wouldn't be surprised if Ford decided to hire a young guy with a pedigree in a good front office who doesn't cost very much, i.e. copycat Dimitroff.

I wonder what Al Davis would look like if he'd been hitting the botox as hard as Jones has.

A younger Al Davis sounds like Dan Snyder to me.
