saw a thread like this on another board, thought I'd give it a shot
QB Fran Tarkenton
One of the top three all timers, gets underrated due to unhappy SB record, just edges out Johnny Unitas for me
RB Sweetness
FB Marion Motley
TE Tony Gonzalez
WR1 Jerry Rice
WR2 Don Hutson
Hutson's counting stats don't look great in today's context, but he was the greatest of his generation by an unbelievable margin - bigger than the gap between Rice and the rest of the modern game's receivers.
OT Art Shell
OT Forrest Gregg
G/T Jim Parker
G John Hannah
C Dwight Stephenson
DE Reggie White
DT Bob Lilly
DT Cortez Kennedy
DE Deacon Jones
OLB Rickey Jackson <-Didn't really want to list 34 rush backers for a 4-3 team, but Rickey needs some love. No idea why he isn't in the Hall.
MLB Dick Butkus
OLB Bobby Bell <-Maybe the most versatile defender ever.
CB Deion Sanders
CB Lemar Parrish
SS Ken Houston
FS Willie Wood
K Morten Andersen
Morrrrrrrrrt
P Mike Scifres
Might be remembered as the greatest ever - fuck Ray Guy
KR/PR Sanders and Parrish

glanville is, objectively speaking, the greatest coach ever

Glanville's teams in Houston were also entertaining. They had a screwy mix of overly aggressive defense and then going with an over the top 'run and shoot' passing game. It seemed they were pretty bad about blowing games with total stupid stuff late in games at times. There was one game when Chris Dishman, who was from Purdue and played safety did some crazy fumble recovery started showboating and then lost the ball going for a TD and the thing like ended with a brawl on the field. I just remember laughing till I hurt watching the highlight on sportscenter in college, but that kind of total crazy shit seemed to happen all the time with those Oiler's teams. Glanville had a rep for trying to run up the score on some division opponents at the time. Sam Wyche hated the dude and a couple of times the Bengals pretty much put the pedal to the floor and destroyed them.
People seem to remember the dirty birds, but his Houston teams were a similar kind of thing.
I think the dude is insane on some his football commentary, but he does crack me up at times.

Is this supposed to be "best ever," or the team you actually would want to assemble if you had your choice?
