Untouchable Passers

If the Broncos decide to formally put Jay Cutler up for trade, they won't have trouble finding partners. An NFL source said "more than 10" teams have called the Broncos this week inquiring about Cutler. In most instances, those teams communicated nothing more than interest should Cutler become available. The Broncos have listened but have told all comers their plan is not to trade Cutler. He requested to be traded Sunday. Teams who figure to have untouchable passers are New England (Tom Brady), Indianapolis (Peyton Manning), New Orleans (Drew Brees), the New York Giants (Eli Manning), San Diego (Philip Rivers), Pittsburgh (Ben Roethlisberger), Cincinnati (Carson Palmer), Green Bay (Aaron Rodgers), Atlanta (Matt Ryan) and Baltimore (Joe Flacco).

I would rather have Jay Cutler than Joe Flacco, and maybe rather have him that Carson Palmer or Aaron Rodgers honestly.

from what i've read denver hasn't talked to any teams about trading cutler but if they do, redskins are def interested also snyder wants to bring in shanahan to coach (prob that for 2010 though)..

you guys can front as much as you like about which of those dudes you'd trade for cutler but you're all lying -- i'd rather have any of the ones listed above than cutler. he's proven to be repeatedly unwilling to work with people and whines like a 4 year old girl who didn't get a pony for christmas. i mean, t.o. is a fucking talented receiver too but there's a reason ppl are shying away. you don't want a QUARTERBACK that acts like that much of a damn girl.

tho now that i mention t.o. i am lolling at the conspicious non-inclusion of tony romo on that untouchable list. wha happened ;_;

he sounded italian enough to give me something (the schef (adam schefter ha ha)), Saturday, 21 March 2009 20:43 (sixteen years ago)

i think palmer is the only questionable inclusion and he's a good bounceback candidate. from a talent/nfl track record standpoint cutler may well be better than ryan, flacco, or rogers but their teams have invested in those guys and are gonna go to war with them--that's why they're on the list.

I am the president of the I Hate Cutler club, but to his credit, I've never heard anything negative about him from his fellow players or his coaches. He just has an overinflated idea of his own value as a player and thinks he should have input in management issues despite not having accomplished anything.

Also he's a little bitch and looks like a lesbian, but the dude can sling it in ways some of those other dudes can't.

I think Palmer for Cutler would be a massive coup for the stripeycats.
