Hall of Fame Quarterbacks of the 2000s and '10s

Tom Brady and Peyton seem to be the sure things from the 00s. Favre is probably in, although maybe representing the '90s more than the '00s.

Will we see a plaque for the big rapist or mouth-eyes or manningsmind in the future? Or the diabetic lesbian who qb's for the bears?

Doesn't seem right, imo.

lotsa writers were saying warner was "in" b/c of leading the cardinals to the SB, even without the win.

He sucked in his first superbowl, and had a 93.2 rating in the second one (nothin' spesh). He owes Santonio Holmes a house for his only touchdown in game 2.

Dude is good, but I mean.

This is the best we can do? Come on.

i'm not saying he deserves it, but since hall of fame voting is done largely by white sportswriters, i'm pretty sure he's a lock

McNabb is so much better than Warner imo.

Warner is the best qb in America if you're playing five-mississippi rules.

i still fondly remember ol crazypants blount snorting derisively (back in 05 or so) at the suggestion that brees was better than vick

not saying warner should get in but i think he's got a fair shot, esp since he's "classy" or whatever. mcnabb should get in too and if he does he should perform the cowboys' blowout dance

omar little, Thursday, 6 August 2009 20:01 (sixteen years ago)

McNabb, no question.

Mordy, Thursday, 6 August 2009 20:01 (sixteen years ago)

i dunno though, qb is a weird position for the hall. you get guys who put up pretty epic numbers who will never come close, and guys who are "winners" with average stats who are surefire locks.

he should perform the cowboys' blowout dance

omg totally forgot about that

So will Brees be the Marino of this era? Ol' facesplotch is putting up a lot of #s

He should call someone from a landline.
