miraculously oakland has taken themselves out of the running for the time being.

cleveland: less fucked now? brady quinn has had two good games in the last three weeks. of course cleveland's only win was one with a 6-3 score.

cleveland: still fucked

I've changed my vote from the Rams in the last poll to the Browns this time, because the Browns are still trying to win games and can't do it. The Rams have just given up.

Worst to best:
st. louis rams (1-11): Feel bad for SJax.
detroit lions (2-10): Their defense is atrosh. Offense is bad but improving.
kansas city chiefs (3-9): How did they win 3 games? itisamystery.gif.
tampa bay buccaneers (1-11): Some tough close losses against good teams. Freeman needs to get better but you can see talent there.
cleveland browns (1-11): Brady Quinn was f'in dope yesterday.
washington redskins (3-9): Remind me of last year's Chiefs, who always seemed to choke away wins at the end. But they have talent.
oakland raiders (4-8): Imagine if they'd just given the team to Garcia in Week 1. Could have 6 or 7 wins, I think.

I think the Raiders might have picked up another victory or two if they would have trashed JaBustus in week two. Their defense is OK to decent and they have a couple of backs, you just cannot go with a QB that can't complete passes for that long and expect anything but the worst. Gradkowski has also played well against some clubs that have a decent defense in the Bengals and Pittsburgh. That last drive yesterday was pretty slick.

Redskins are the same way, except their defense is really playoff ready. Their offensive line is a joke, the QB is not very good and they were trying way too much fancy sxxt early on. Sherm Lewis has gotten alot of laughs coming in, but they are running a much more bread and butter run and passing attack now and it fits their personnel much better.

I still only have saw the Bucs against the Giants and they looked horrible in that one. They seem to have had quite a bit of squabbles between coaches.

You got to wonder if the Rams getting a new owner would they want to change the coach?

Wherever you go, the bottom 3 are pretty damn poor.

Haven't seen KC either, so but going by the numbers it is hard to say they are improving per say. Part of that might be they lost their starting QB.

Cleveland's D has some decent parts and looked OK in the Bengals game. They give up a ton of huge plays. Quinn has obviously had a couple of better games of late.

since this poll, the browns have won two in a row(!), oakland, tampa, and washington are 1-1, and the chiefs, lions, and rams are all 0-2. i think the missouri teams are running first and second place in this chase for the crown.

pantalols (omar little), Tuesday, 22 December 2009 17:42 (fifteen years ago)

Derek Anderson's about to go back in for the Browns, though, and Mangina's going to start coaching like a man who's sending out resumes.

Johnny Fever, Tuesday, 22 December 2009 17:51 (fifteen years ago)

Maybe Mangini and Weis and Crennel can go back to the Patriots next year!
