I'll be interested when I see the 1st woman suit up in an NFL game. That would be interesting.

OXNARD, Calif. -- In the short-running soap opera known as "A Time To Panic: The Dallas Cowboys Preseason," two mini-crises were averted Saturday night.

Tony Romo emerged from the Cowboys' 16-14 victory over the San Diego Chargers with all limbs intact.

And although it probably wasn't the equivalent of Moses parting the Red Sea, the Cowboys did manage to navigate the red zone as the offense scored its first two touchdowns of the season.

"We'll put [those issues] behind us," tight end Jason Witten said, "then we'll go on to the next issue. Right?"

three weeks pass...

Is this an appropriate place to talk about Jimmy Johnson's performance on Survivor?

He was wheezing like a maniac on day one, pretty sure he's gonna die on day two.

roy williams! instant classic.

Roberto Spiralli, Sunday, 19 September 2010 20:10 (fifteen years ago)

Williams was traded to the Dallas Cowboys on October 14, 2008 for first, third and sixth round picks in the 2009 NFL Draft (the Cowboys also received a seventh round pick from the Lions in the 2010 draft). He was then signed to a new contract through the 2014 season; Roy Williams agreed to a 6 year, $54 million contract, along with $26 million guaranteed.[4][5]

loved the sideline shot of romo scolding tashard choice for not catching the pass thrown behind him and choice "rolling his damn eyes"

Tony Dungee just made me think of a good question. Which will be the first game the Cowboys can actually WIN?

@ Houston
BYE WEEK
Titans
@ Vikings
Giants
Jaguars
@ Packers
@ Giants
Lions
Saints
@ Colts
Eagles
Redskins
@ Cardinals
@ Eagles

I guess the BYE doesn't count, so I'm picking the Vikings as their first win. If not then, surely the Jags.

The Cowboys season is over while the Rangers are still playing baseball. Their fans are setting videos to Yakety Sax, never a good sign.

"According to a recent USA Today poll, 45 percent of the country said that no team deserves to perform this terribly under this much pressure, except for the Dallas Cowboys. Thirty-two percent said that the season has been emotionally taxing for people who grew up worshipping Roger Staubach, Troy Aikman, and Emmitt Smith, and that those people should probably go fuck themselves anyway."

^ fucking stellar. And i agree totally.

two weeks pass...

So apparently Jerry Jones was in Tuscaloosa the other day to meet with Nick Saban. I don't think this will amount to much, especially considering these things: 1. Saban has said numerous times he's through with the NFL and 2. Jerry Jones will never cede enough control over team operations to make the offer appealing to Saban.

Now, I know one day that Saban will up and leave Alabama because history dictates that will happen. But I really don't believe it will be to coach the Cowboys.
