The only team I have ever hated on a regular basis is my favorite team the Chargers.

i think there's a motive for hating the cowboys too -- i think it's within reason to hate a team that is the most bandwagoned team in a sport i.e. the yankees, duke basketball

Eagles and Chargers come to mind. I also hate the Jets, but that is totally justified.

Ravens - They're the Cleveland Browns, I don't care what the record books say. I was more offended by them winning a Super Bowl with Trent Dilfer than I was with them winning it with a guy who killed two guys, snitched, and then bought off the deceased's family. Plus, I hate Maryland's checkerboard motif.

Cowboys - I've tried to like them. For some strange reason, they're the default fan team in my neck of the woods. But they're never humble, suck most of the time, are kings of the "speaking loudly while waving a tiny peter" routine. T.O. stomping on that star was a wonderful moment and then.. he signed with the Cowboys, started talking smack, and waved a tiny peter. Good one, TO.

It's not even my usual Texas hate that clouds my thinking, even though the moronic admonishments of being the best when, in fact, they're pretty mediocre is inherently Texan. But one of my favorite teams this season is the Texans, with their red-white-and-blue Longhorn skull logo. In the NFL, they're all a bunch of millionaires from all over the place, so where they actually play doesn't make any difference to me. After all, the Bills are a CFL club IRL, right?

Falcons - I have no idea why the national media hounds Bobby Petrino for doing what any sane person would do and getting the fuck out of Atlanta the quicker the better. The Georgia Dome is where football comes to die. I imagine that place smelling like the indoors pool area of the Exit 182 Holiday Inn in Alpharetta, stagnant, moist and polluted.

cowboys (they don't even have a mariano rivera type i can grudgingly give respectful props to)
ravens (i actually kind of hate ray lewis, and not just for being an uncaptured serial killer~)
broncos (i liked them w/shanahan because i liked watching him work his magic and usually defeat teams that had it coming, but this new generation of broncos is either zzzz or hateable)
redskins (change the name already, dudes)
jaguars and panthers (the presence of teal)
patriots (don't hate totally, just enjoy watching them lose)

I almost posted the Colts, but like omar and the pats, I just like watching them lose.

I pulled for them to win with Tony Dungy (since he should have been given Jon Gruden's ring in the first place), but I'll never get tired of flipping through images of a grumpy Peyton Manning.

i can come up with motives, motives that others would at least begrudgingly give me, for every team i hate besides chicago. though i guess jay cutler is a good reason, nowadays?

my hate list is long and ugly but mostly consists of the dallas cowboys (I actually do not hate or even dislike the other two rival teams to the giants in the NFC East though obviously I'd prefer them to lose). but seeing as virtually every member of ilnfl has put the cowboys in this list, it's obviously not unmotivated hate.
