Seattle at Chicago -- CHIMiami at Green Bay -- MIA (I don't see Rodgers getting Wally Pipped tbh)San Diego at St. Louis -- SDBaltimore at New England -- NE (NEW WEAPON FOR TOM BARDY)New Orleans at Tampa Bay -- NODetroit at NY Giants -- NYGAtlanta at Philadelphia -- ATLCleveland at Pittsburgh -- Is Roffles starting? A completely embarrassing 5-9 last week, and an equally embarrassing 40-36 on the year.
Seattle at Chicago → CHI. I'm picking the Bears under the assumption that Cutler returns. I expect this game to suck either way, though.Miami at Green Bay → MIA. Rodgers has a hurty head and won't be playing. I like the Dolphins to snap back after a week off.San Diego at St. Louis → SD. I didn't see the Week 5 game, but it appears that w/o Mark Clayton, the Rams offense has no idea what to do. Baltimore at New England → BAL. Even with Flacco not exactly excelling right now, I like the Ravens' chances here.New Orleans at Tampa Bay → TB. I'll be at this game, which will be a much closer game than I expected when I bought the tickets. Saints looks amazingly bad right now.Detroit at NY Giants → NYG. I wish the Lions could win this, I really do. But I don't think so.Atlanta at Philadelphia → ATL. I may change this pick once I know Vick's status.Cleveland at Pittsburgh → PIT. Roffles is back under center. Kansas City at Houston → KC. I'm picking the Chefs because I want to, not because I like their chances.Oakland at San Francisco → SF. I think the Niners are -almost- there. Alex Smith just needs Singletary to put the fear of god in him again.NY Jets at Denver → NYJ. Kyle Orton might be the best qb no one anywhere is talking about right now, but I think the Jets D brings him down to earth this week.Dallas at Minnesota → DAL. R0m0 vs. Favre. I hate America.Indianapolis at Washington → IND. If the Skins win this, it will no longer be accepted wisdom to pick against them.

I haven't been doing picks this year because I missed the first week, but my one prediction this week will be that SF gets their first win against Oakland. But I will be rooting for Oakland.

Last week 8-6, for the year 44-32
To be honest, I feel fine with the results as the NFL is so evened out, you just can't count on much. I guess the Rams winning on the road is a stretch, but losing by 30? How good are the Texans, Giants, Chargers, Cowboys and Titans anyway? One week they will look great, one week they will look like crud.
Seattle at Chicago -- I'm going Bears, as their defense is real and they are at home.
Miami at Green Bay -- Here is a couple of under performing teams, I guess GB at home. Packers defense over the past couple of years pretty much lives and dies on the big play, as they give up a crap load of yards. GB also is a penalty machine. Don't know Miami well enough to really gauge, but if I got those two backs, I don't let the young QB lose the game. No real proof, but I would think the Dolphin D is Ok.
San Diego at St. Louis -- Chargers should win, but I think if the club starts believing SS Norv is heading for the bottom, they could lose a game like this one.
Baltimore at New England -- This will be a knuckleduster and pretty even. I'm curious to see how NE does really, as I think they are OK, but it is still living on past rep right now. Baltimore lost to them in where Ray Ray was crying about Brady taking a dive, then the Ravens smacked them around pretty bad in the playoffs. I'm kind of leaning Ravens.
New Orleans at Tampa Bay -- I'm taking NO, but they are looking pretty damn 9-7 right now. Tampa got lucky as sXXT against the Bengals, as they pretty much handed them that game last week. TB is better though, as when I saw them play the Giants this time last year, they were the worst club in the NFL and couldn't do anything right at all.
Detroit at NY Giants -- I'll take the Giants, as the Lions haven't won many road games in a decade.
Atlanta at Philadelphia -- I could see the Eagles playing up and keeping it close, but Atlanta seems to be a better club at this point and this is the kind of game the Falcons need to be able to pull off if they are ready to step up to the next level.
Cleveland at Pittsburgh -- Steelers, but Cleveland could make it interesting, as their defense is pretty decent. It will be a fugly offensive game to watch.
Kansas City at Houston -- KC is Ok, but Houston has to win this one if the are for real (and I'm not really buying at this point). Cassel isn't getting much help from hands of stone Bowe, but KC needs Cassel to be able to match with the big offensive clubs when needed. I'll go Houston and if they lose, screw em no playoffs for you and have fun at 8-8 or 9-7.
Oakland at San Francisco -- 49ers have played tough and this one will be a riot but I think SF will win. Oaktown's schedule is pretty workable for a bit, so they could go into a bye week with playoff hopes that will only be dashed later on.
NY Jets at Denver -- Jets look pretty good. Denver could play them close even win if they can cause NYJ to make some turnovers.
Dallas at Minnesota -- screwed up versus screwed up...Minnesota to me seems a bit more screwed up, take the Cowboys.
Indianapolis at Washington -- I'm not sure, but I don't think McNabb and Manning have faced off very much as I seem to think at least one time I could remember the Eagles had a backup QB when they played the Colts. Going Colts...should be a pretty good game.
DONT FORGET (some have it missing above)Tennessee at Jacksonville -- Titans, but I could go either way. Being Monday Night Football, it might actually sell out in Jacksonville.

8-6 last week, 42-33 on the season
Seattle at Chicago - chicago D is for real and if cutler's head isn't fogged up he should light up the seattle secondaryMiami at Green Bay - miami will win this one pretty easily i think. only reason the pack isn't in serious trouble is b/c the vikes are hilariously falling apart and the bears will probably come back down to earth.San Diego at St. Louis - chargers will be pissed this week and will winBaltimore at New England - i could see NE pulling this one off but that ravens have a good offense and can keep the pace. despite the balt defense i think it might end up being a shootout, actually.New Orleans at Tampa Bay - new orleans but not comfortablyDetroit at NY Giants - giantsAtlanta at Philadelphia - atlanta. too bad vick won't be around for this one. Cleveland at Pittsburgh - steelersKansas City at Houston - KC looked solid against indy even though they lost. maybe they can hold down the houston offense? i'm picking the chiefs, why notOakland at San Francisco - these two teams bore me so much (aside from singletary's antics.) i dunno, the raiders.NY Jets at Denver - jetsDallas at Minnesota - a couple of keystone cops squads here. i'll pick the vikings only because they're at home and i think it's going to come down to a favre interception at the dallas 4 yard line with 2 minutes left, followed byhttp://images.chron.com/blogs/askacat/hatcat.JPGvictoriously kneeling four consecutive times, after the last of which there is still 2 seconds left on the clock, then the vikings kick a field goal and win.Indianapolis at Washington - indy

Allow me to make you all feel better about yourselves re: picks - I'm 6-8 last week and a disgusting 37-39 overall. I'm notorious for picking "from hunger," though. That said...
Seattle at Chicago : DABears, especially if Cutler's good to go. Love that defense!
Miami at Green Bay : Dolphins, providing they used their bye-week to get their special teams issues worked out. Also, isn't Rodgers hurt?
San Diego at St. Louis : SD
Baltimore at New England : Ravens
New Orleans at Tampa Bay : NO
Detroit at NY Giants : Rooting for Detroit, picking Giants
Atlanta at Philadelphia : Iggles (with Vick OR with Kolb)
Cleveland at Pittsburgh : Big Ben
Kansas City at Houston : Looking forward to this one, oughta be good. I'm still pulling for the Chiefs.
Oakland at San Francisco : Raiders. How the hell can you pick the Niners?
NY Jets at Denver : God help me, Jets. Hate both of these teams.
Dallas at Minnesota : Vikings if Favre actually plays. You gotta believe. (My pick becomes the Cowboys if Tarvaris Jackson takes the field).
Indianapolis at Washington : Redskins
Titans at Jacksonville : Two televised Titans games in two weeks! Christmas in October here in Bungles country. Titans in a good one.

Even if they don't, take a look at the 'boys schedule. They ain't going nowhere.
NFL is so even, it is going to be a freakin' dog fight to make the playoff and if you are 1-4 and unless you play in the NFC West, it's not going to happen. NFC East isn't dominating, but the clubs are all pretty evenly matched, so there is no way the Cowboys sweep out over the Eagles, Redskins and Giants.
The AFC South is so competitive, there is going to be a club in that division not make the playoffs that could whip a couple of teams that make it. I think those two in division losses by the Colts could haunt, as I was looking at their schedule, and it really doesn't let up. Even the clubs that are not doing well they play are not terrible and could come up and pull a win out.
