i forgot where i read this (i think simmons) but apparently michael lombardi said that if he had gotten the niners GM job that he would've traded for bryan hoyer -- i think he might be top 5 on this list, if not top 3

tyrod taylor is an undrafted rookie (or seventh round pick) from v tech

chase daniel was blaine gabbert's predecessor at mizzou, and in a dead heat w/ brad smith for best qb in school history -- he's been on the saints for like 3 or 4 years now

lol apparently mark brunell was banking on developing condos in jacksonville--feel comfortable saying that was not wise.

yeah def, altho i think carr might be decent in a matt moore way. he prob never should've been the number one overall pick, but i'm sure his development was permanently fucked by the whole experience w/ the texans. he probably has more "talent" than a lot of guys on this list.

I always believed that there just have to be more than ~32 total people who are capable of playing qb at an nfl level in america but then you look at a list like that...

i think shaun hill might be the best guy on this list, yeah. played 11 games last year w/ an 81 qb rating, 61% completion and a 16/12 td ratio is v good for a back up

carr is not @ all bad for a backup imo

I think gradkowski is the best in terms of stepping in on short notice and winning games.

I like Gradkowski. Don't know if he'll ever be any teams full-time starter (I thought Gruden pulled him far too soon in Tampa Bay), but he's crazy reliable for a couple or more games as a backup.

Volek is very solid.
