They should still take a QB imo, but wait until later in the draft to do it.

Mayock's suspicion that they'll take Blackmon at 4, then a running back later in the first round, and then pick up Weeden in the second round makes a ton of sense. But the draft never usually shakes out the way teams plan.

Browns maybe moving up to 3 suggests to me that they aren't taking Richardson.

Peter King thinks the opposite ... that it is to make sure they get him. So we'll see.

The Bengals were on the clock for the 27th pick, and the voice on the phone said that he was from the Bengals and that they would be selecting Sanu. As you might imagine, Sanu’s draft party exploded in joy that stopped just long enough for them to watch Roger Goodell announce the pick.

Which was Kevin Zeitler, an offensive lineman from Wisconsin.

“This is a great kid, I guarantee you, and someone played a cruel joke on him,” Sanu’s agent Mike McCartney, who tweeted that Sanu would be a Bengal before the true pick was known, told Peter King of SI.com. “It is unreal that someone would do that, but it happened.”

Per McCartney, Sanu’s in good spirits despite the prank and excited to join a team that does want him. He’s probably going to be asking for a little more background information from callers on Friday night, though.

my fav two moments were when he insinuated that stephon gilmore would play the wildcat for buffalo and also when he said that he had melvin ingram at the top of "his board"

also when he was talking about rex's defense and said "he's got guys walking around... i don't know where they are"

i loved the idea of gruden watching like 5 hours of melvin ingram film from 4 am - 9 am, just totally uninterrupted, rewinding the same play back over and over for 25 mins, exclaiming to an empty room

it really kills me that the NBA draft is such a pale shadow of the NFL draft. Football is probably my fourth favorite sport, but the NFL draft is so fucking awesome.

since Al Davis died I was wavering on staying a Raiders fan but Reggie McKenzie just picked an Angolan defensive end who 4 years ago was playing high school basketball in Canada, so I'm back in.
