Settings are mostly the same as last year, except I dumped the option for defenses to go subzero and extended the trade deadline. Starting off with 12 teams, but we can go bigger if necessary.

Live draft is August 29th at 9pm ET. As always, that can be changed as the date approaches.

Yes, it's still more than three months until kickoff, but I like to get in there early. Look! We got a league number <10k.

i need to study; that's way too early

who won last year? we should dump results into the thread each year for posterity. i can't even remember if i made the playoffs - i experienced the full horror of yahoo autodraft for the first time. no way i am anywhere else but in front of my pc come 9et aug 29, typing shit into a small box, colour coded excel spreadsheet being totally ignored in another window.

i drafted today in my live league with 12 folks. 1/2 pt PPR, 2 qbs, head coach position (win by 17+ get points, lose by 17+ lose points)

non-ILNFL draft Q

Hey, are there any draft secrets to building a team in a dynasty league? Do I draft for future performance 1 or 2 seasons from now like a GM would, or what? I'm going into one of these tonight with not-enough prep work and I'm thinking I'll be permanently screwed in this league if I blow this draft.

I would draft QB/TE/WR early, then take RBs later on. The latter get hurt a lot more often than the former, and nothing kills a dynasty team like a torn ACL.

I say draft best available player and let everyone else out-think themselves.

i hate to jump to rash conclusions, but losing to a team with 5 starters on bye week is possibly an indication that glory will elude me this year.

that's only the second-closest score of the year too, saint boba fett beat me in week 2 164.59 - 164.55~

about the rex - illuminati game I swear I initially won the game (and even saw the recap) but by then end of the week they stat corrected the point totals, specifically DeAngelo Hall getting credited an additional point for blocking a kick
