LAST WEEK - a Wayne Fontes 9-7.

Chicago at Green Bay- This is a pretty big game for week 2, as if the Bears win they are 2 games up on the Packers. That's a nice lead to start the season. Bears got good rush against the Colts, but that's not the Packers. I'm leaning Green Bay, but I hope Chicago rolls them of course.
Kansas City at Buffalo- KC seemed to play better than expected and lost. Buffalo played much worse than expected and lost. I got to think the Bills are better than last week and I will take them to beat KC at home.
Cleveland at Cincinnati- Wow...the Bengals got rolled. Cleveland played the Eagles close, which I actually wasn't suprised by as Philly has seemed to play down to competition over the past few years. I'm taking the Bengals, but these games are always close.
Minnesota at Indianapolis- Hard to figure. I'm leaning Vikings but this is a close game. I have to wonder how bad Indy #93 is hurt.
New Orleans at Carolina- Both clubs were very dissapointing in week 1, I guess this is a pickem, but
I'm going with the Saints on rep.
Houston at Jacksonville- Jville played close and lost. I could see this being close, but Houston wants to be the big dog of the AFC South, they really can't lose this game. I'll go Texans.
Arizona at New England- Pats. C'mon...
Tampa Bay at NY Giants- Giants but I could see Tampa keeping it fugly enough to hang around.
Baltimore at Philadelphia- Ravens but like I said, Philly plays to who they are playing somewhat. I wouldn't be surprised everything clicks and they win.
Dallas at Seattle- Dallas didn't have the bad turnovers that usually deep six them, but they did have a lot of penalties. That said, they got a crap load of firepower on both sides of the ball and should win in Seattle. Going Cowboys, but it's often tough to get a win there.
Washington at St. Louis- Rams played Detroit tight and caused a lot of turnovers. Got to go with Washington based on putting down a better club, but it will be interesting to see how tight the Rams play them.
Oakland at Miami- This definitely won't go down as a "Sea of Hands" game. I guess Raiders as they don't have a rookie QB.
NY Jets at Pittsburgh- I don't care how well they played last week and how old the Steelers looked, I'm still taking Pittsburgh.
Tennessee at San Diego- This is a toss up. I guess Chargers at home.
Detroit at San Francisco- I'll take the Niners.
Denver at Atlanta- Denver looked pretty good and this is probably a decent matchup. Eh...give me Atlanta at home. I could see it going either way and I don't know much about Atlanta, as I rarely see them play.

8-8 last week, missed five out of six of the late and monday night games. bleh.

Chicago at Green Bay - Aaron is so so pissed y'all
Kansas City at Buffalo - I think the bills are better than they seem though i don't know how they could be worse
Cleveland at Cincinnati - bengals
Minnesota at Indianapolis - colts i guess?
New Orleans at Carolina - Saints, very very angrily
Houston at Jacksonville - Texans
Arizona at New England - Patriots, breaking that Cardinal spree
Tampa Bay at NY Giants - one that the giants can and should win
Baltimore at Philadelphia - Ravens but this has potential to be interesting
Dallas at Seattle - Squawk
Washington at St. Louis - I hope the redskins win every game and the nation needs to discuss why we still have a major sports team whose name is an ethnic slur
Oakland at Miami - Miami in something of an upset? really just needling vegrrrrl
NY Jets at Pittsburgh - i think that was a fluke game and am going steelers
Tennessee at San Diego - taking titans as a homer
Detroit at San Francisco - Niners looking fucking scary
Denver at Atlanta - I am impressed with peyty 2.0 but the falcons are likely to shut that shit down

from the new yorker, i love this image:

On March 19th, Ryan and Tannenbaum were having Mexican food at Newark airport, on their way to watch Coples' workout. Tannenbaum recounted, "On the third appetizer, I say, 'If Peyton signs at Denver, what do you think of Tebow?'" Ryan said that he found the idea "exciting." He'd once believed that Tebow was "judgmental," but they'd met at the Super Bowl and got along. "I think he could replace Brad Smith," Ryan said. The coach went off to buy a milkshake at Ben & Jerry's, and Tannebaum called Denver to express his interest in Tebow.

"That being said, there were some just bizarre calls on both sides. Anybody who watches the TV copy, I mean I saw it from the sidelines, but we scored a touchdown on a legit block in the back. I don't know what happened on that. It has to hopefully get better."

i'm taking miami over oakland. neither look too hot - miami is going to find 2-3 wins this year and raiders on the east coast seems as good an opportunity as any.

xps I think it's kinda rotten that NFLN is hogging so many games now, even though I finally live somewhere I can watch it, because I remember living places I couldn't. Until they're on, like, 95% of the county's cable systems, they shouldn't suck up so many games per season that people can't watch.

Christopher Duan Johnson (born September 23, 1985) is an American football running back for the Tennessee Titans of the National Football League. Johnson quickly became one of the league's premier players, and was a Pro Bowl starter in his first three seasons. More recently, he has become better known for frequently being unable to advance the ball more than a single yard.

I feel like pass protection is going to be a problem all year, so having more mobility out of the QB would be good, especially since Palmer strikes me as very skittish when he doesn't have a perfect pocket. But Pryor is probably not the guy to do it. Maybe even Leinert would be better?

Palmer's deep throws are very nice looking when they're on target, tho
