that top 5 after stafford...oh boy

Roberto Spiralli, Wednesday, 10 April 2013 22:27 (twelve years ago)

Heyward-Bey really not all that bad of a pick after all.

Mr. Snrub, Wednesday, 10 April 2013 22:32 (twelve years ago)

amazing that knowshon was only drafted 3 yrs ago

johnny crunch, Wednesday, 10 April 2013 22:34 (twelve years ago)

i guess clay matthews? but im mostly voting 4 him cuz he did a cameo on the mindy project last night

johnny crunch, Wednesday, 10 April 2013 22:36 (twelve years ago)

I went to hs and college w/ Alex Mack. he's a nice guy. so I'm voting for him.

iatee, Wednesday, 10 April 2013 22:36 (twelve years ago)

altho hm clay is turning 27 and im guessing wont age too great. conversely percy will only be turning 25

johnny crunch, Wednesday, 10 April 2013 22:38 (twelve years ago)

alex mack does have a probowl appearance and TD to his name

Roberto Spiralli, Wednesday, 10 April 2013 22:41 (twelve years ago)

DHB aside these WRs are all pretty good, nicks prob the best receiver right now, but harvin might edge him as an overall contributor

i would like to believe there is someone on here between than matthews. it is a shame orakpo died at the start of last season, and was in that horrible geico commercial.

Roberto Spiralli, Wednesday, 10 April 2013 22:54 (twelve years ago)

bj raji is pretty dope

polyphonic, Wednesday, 10 April 2013 23:55 (twelve years ago)

raji is a bit overrated... he wasn't very good last year apparently

J0rdan S., Thursday, 11 April 2013 00:01 (twelve years ago)

hmmm this was not great huh

call all destroyer, Thursday, 11 April 2013 00:01 (twelve years ago)

wow, what an awful draft

J0rdan S., Thursday, 11 April 2013 00:03 (twelve years ago)

first round at least

J0rdan S., Thursday, 11 April 2013 00:03 (twelve years ago)

i do enjoy knowing which athletes are nice guys, and am glad to hear that alex mack is a nice guy. hell, given the choices i might vote for him too.

call all destroyer, Thursday, 11 April 2013 00:05 (twelve years ago)

i would vote for harvin but it would seem a bit weird to call it the best pick considering minny decided to trade him before his first contract was even over

i'm gonna vote for stafford, he'll still may end up being the best player out of this group (if he isn't already) and if the lions had taken any of the other players drafted in the top 5 i can't even imagine where they would be right now

J0rdan S., Thursday, 11 April 2013 00:05 (twelve years ago)

oh man this was the the draft after the cutler trade... mcdaniels had unbelievably bad drafts

J0rdan S., Thursday, 11 April 2013 00:08 (twelve years ago)

It sucks how long it took Crabtree to adjust to the NFL, but he's definitely one of the better names here now. If we'd polled it two seasons ago, he wouldn't be. Still have to go with Stafford though.

Johnny Fever, Thursday, 11 April 2013 04:44 (twelve years ago)

Stafford I think.

I wanted to say Matthews because he is great in that position, and I really did enjoy watching him flying around the field when GB were doing well, but he's not as much of a factor this season and in the overall scheme of things he's more easily replaced, even if it's by someone of a more mediocre calibre. Stafford's not as easily replaced. I mean, I know it's all relative and this whole thing is so full of holes but at the end of the day I think Stafford could pay off longterm, because has that quiet, but awesome workhorse quality that is kinda underrated but so valuable in QBs.

this season? last season

the prob with voting for stafford is that statistically he's not really different from josh freeman

call all destroyer, Thursday, 11 April 2013 05:04 (twelve years ago)

oh good you're here

I say the Packers win with Raji and Matthews - got 'em enough defense to win a Superbowl.

I think the big story on a ton of these dudes is that they may be pretty good, but staying healthy is the issue.

earlnash, Thursday, 11 April 2013 05:25 (twelve years ago)

Was torn b/w Nicks/Matthews/Stafford/Harvin but eventually went with Matthews b/c he's the only player on the list that I actually worry about facing on a Sunday. Probably biased b/c Brees is a once or twice in a lifetime qb talent for the Saints and he's always got mediocre to shitty tackles protecting him.

it says "best pick" so I assume it means best value for draft slot and based on that it's Clay Matthews

Matt Armstrong, Monday, 15 April 2013 00:05 (twelve years ago)

If Orakpo hadn't been injured I would have picked him, love that guy
