It is definitely not always the most telling of what coach will have the most success, but what club with a new head coach do you think will win the most games in 2013?

I don't know why I'm picking Arizona exactly, but I am.

bears 9 wins
philly 8-9
kcc 8-9
cle 8
sd 8
bills 6
az 6
jax 3

bears are the best team but their division will be more competitive out of those 8-8ish teams. my guess is, even if kelly works out, philly will need time to get there. i feel like kcc and cle are set for a season of unexciting competence after their respective changes

Chiefs and Bills are kind of unknown to me, as I don't think I have seen either club play in a couple of years.

Jags got drug down pretty bad by their QB and offense last year, they seemed to have some talent on defense.

AZ has also suffered with a near complete black hole at QB, but the defense has eroded also over the past couple of years.

Bears have some talent still, but I think they are at that point of needing an infusion of new talent on defense. Pass rush wasn't what it had been after the injuries kicked in. Urlacher is gone, but Briggs, Tillman and Peppers have all played a LOT of football. Maybe they will be good, maybe they will be hurt maybe they will lose a step - definitely something to watch. Their O-line has GOT to improve or no amount of offensive gurus or speed on the outside won't matter.

Bills just because of the bad division

chiefs have a decent amount of talent, every reason to be bullish on them.

the eagles might give up 30 points a game.

Jets and Dolphins arent exactly poised to be lighting it up this year. I like some of the Bills young offensive talent and with the right coach they could be good.

I could probably regret the above post.

why did i just vote for the chargers

Maybe you think NFL teams don't really need receivers?

Based only on my gut and no deep analysis whatsoever:

Bears > Chiefs > Eagles > Chargers > Cardinals > Browns > Bills > Jags

I think there is so much parity right now that most divisions are pretty competitive.

AFC East looks to be the only one that really only has one 'real' playoff contender, although teams do surprise (like Miami a couple years ago).

NFC East always gets tons of press by the teams, but I think all four of those clubs are in the middle of the NFL pack.

NFC West oddly enough looks to me to be a power division as both Niners and Seahawks looked to be best two clubs in the division last year and the Rams improved a ton over the year. Cards probably are going to get beat up pretty good unless their QB play like doubles in production.

AFC West looks pretty middling with the Broncos probably the best club, but I got to figure the Chargers and maybe the Chiefs might have enough talent to get to playoff contention. Who knows on the Raiders? I don't.

AFC North is kind of a mystery as the Steelers are rebuilding and it's hard to say how all of the change over hits the Ravens. Browns have some talent and could improve. Bengals look pretty good on paper, how it will actually play out - well it's Cincy.

NFC North looks pretty competitive even if the Packers are the best club. Bears to me could go 4-12 or 12-4, it all depends on how it comes together. Lions have some talent. Vikings were quite improved last year, can they make that next step?

NFC South I don't know those clubs all that well. Atlanta looks loaded at least on offense. NO has that passing attack and something to prove. Carolina and Bucs are hard to figure, I wouldn't be shocked if one or the other was competitive.

AFC South is a bit of an unknown. Will the Colts improve? Texans are good on paper to win the division again. Titans were all over the place last year. Jags are rebuilding, but I think they might have enough defense if the offense is decent, maybe they could be competitive.
