Cincinnati at Miami- It kind of depends on what Dolphin team shows up. I'd say this is a close game but I will take the Bengals on the road.
Atlanta at Carolina- I'm taking the Panthers, but this has been the kind of game they have lost the past couple years.
Minnesota at Dallas- Cowboys should win.
New Orleans at N.Y. Jets- Saints. I just don't think the Jets can slow down NO at all.
Tennessee at St. Louis- yikes I don't know, Titans I guess.
Kansas City at Buffalo- Give me KC but the Bills are playing teams pretty competitive.
San Diego at Washington- Washington to win.
Philadelphia at Oakland- yikes, I don't know on this one either. Raiders I guess.

i think bmore have to beat cleveland out of their bye but i have a feeling they might not, and that would be a hell of a measure of their championship hangover season

I think the thing about teammates comin out in support of incognito over martin isn't that martin was actually in the wrong, it's that most football players probably really are unrepentant assholes.

I just watched an ESPN roundtable (I don't remember who was on it) where a black former player was all "look it's just locker room stuff, everyone knows what that's about; Incognito messed up by taking it outside the locker room" and I'm just sitting here thinking "so if Incognito had been all 'hey you half-nigger piece of shit' in front of everyone else, that would have been okay???? do you actually hear the words coming out of your mouth right now"

And there's an article claiming that Martin's agent contacted the GM to discuss the situation and the GM's response was "Martin should punch Incognito"

I mean, I get mental toughness and I get razzing but where's the point where you say "you know, this is counterproductive and actually really fucking racist, I should probably stop" if you aren't a gigantic scumbag who should probably be killed

there's no defending Incognito here, and as al leung says, the support for him from the players is purely indicative of the outdated machismo that still permeates through locker rooms. That players don't get along, prank or haze each other is nothing new (albeit I think the latter is juvenile). But Incognito's form of bullying reaches way beyond the norm - this isn't making a rookie pick up a tab, this is absolute emotional abuse.

I don't see how that was expected to toughen Martin up. Perhaps they should focus more on why Incognito enjoys letting so many defensive linemen blow by him this year. Martin is a bad Left Tackle, to be sure, but the way to get him to improve wasn't bullying.

as I said, very disappointed in the way my team handled this. suspending Incognito was pure ass-covering.

with that said, I'll be at the MNF game; I enjoy cognitive dissonance.
