Board-specific search?

Yeah, this is a piece of cake, seeing as each board has a unique id number in its url. Here's how this kind of search would look on google (the "inurl:" bit should be self-explanatory):

search for all ILE threads containing the word 'rockism'

search for all ILM threads containing the word 'rockism'

In the search function, you could provide links to the basic google search format for each board:

Search I Love Hoops

Search 1P3

etc., etc. It would make sense for each board to have a link to its own search function displayed in the taskbar net to the regular search. Obv this isn't the kind of project that any ol' dastard can implement, but in theory it should be simple enough.

I was thinking more in terms of a dropping list, but yeah.

Rev, I have completely rewritten search from the ground up for the stuff that's coming at some point soon. The hard bit with all this is to let people do it, but to not have the thing descend into poxy fule land in a few minutes. Nonetheless, the new version will let you search for a lot more than the current one does, including a drop-down list with boards in it:
