Considering this both didn't refer the poster specifically by name and was also an innocuous rickrolling joke, i think invoking mod rules on it was kind of uncalled for.
Not that i care about the thread, but srsly, capitulating to pointless butthurt will only increase the butthurtedness level of ILX

I still do not understand what "butthurt" is. As far as I can understand, it seems to be some puerile tag for anyone objecting to the low-level bullying of Dom's endless tedious zing culture.
Your argument seems only to consist of "capitulating to people protesting about bullying will only increase bullying" - blame the victim in other words. I do not agree.
The thread I asked to have deleted did indeed contain my name, and I was well within my rights to have it removed, silly rickrolling meme or not.
Beyond that, argue to your hearts' content.

I said on the other thread (that I can't find, LOL) that if anyone complains about anything posted about them on that board, it gets deleted immediately. If people are going to use that board to snark on other posters, that's the price. In any case, I've deleted a couple of threads previously for similar reasons without comment.
