if someone sends you an "email" through ILX, is there no way to reply to their email without finding one of their posts on ILX? like you can't just hit "reply" because it'll just go back to the ilx robot, right?

The send-an-email page should really warn you of this, to tell you to put yr email addy in if you expect a reply, I suppose.

maybe even attach a notice in the body of the message itself, like "if you want to write this person back, go find one of their posts"

I might suggest automatically including a link to the sending user's email page, but now that I've peeked at that, it's not quite so simple.
