Request for code change: increase the allowable image width

Can we please increase possible graphic size? All the crazy-ass toons and comic strips we try to post get crimped down to the point of near unreadability. Even Doonesbury is so tight that it can be illegible for anybody running your basic 1024 x 768 screen rez.

And how else can we mock each Chuck Asay gem to its fullest potential without being able to see each lovingly rendered batshit detail?

The image width bit is a function of the stylesheet you use. I don't know if any stylesheets permit wider images than what I use (keith.css), but you could cook up a stylesheet designed for 1280 px width displays or whatever and submit it. If you don't want to bother with that, then you could just greasemonkey/greasekit a script to change the max-width parameter of the <img> tag to any setting you like. Ugly, but easy and it works.

Get Greasemonkey (Firefox) or Greasekit (Safari) and install this user script, changing the 100% to anything you'd like (e.g., 150%, 1024px, whatevs). Then you will get images as big as you like.

Okay, i'm fiddling with my css choice. I think i'm running keith's old ilx2 one now, since the width is far better. I'm happy enough with it, since most of the images or toons that I post are about 800 px wide or less.
