there's a thing that lets mods adjust suggest ban counts, because when it was being written there was a worry about crusades/sock puppetry etc. It only works downwards.

o how about i just say that from here on out, anyone who gets SB'd stays banned. if a bunch of people think that being momentarily annoyed by a poster is worth kicking them off ILX permanently, well then theres nothing i can do about it.

I sort of agree with LJ here. I didn't suggest ban him earlier even when he posted a very o_O post about me/RS because lol jokes but I did ask that the thread be deleted and it was. I have never suggest banned anyone and probably will never. Unless someone is SERIOUSLY offensive or threatening then I just don't get it tbh.

i think the message in this thread is that people are not satisfied with the current SB system for a variety of completely valid reasons.

and that sounds really simple and everything but yeah, it's not a particularly good system.

the problems were "pathetically minor" in your charcterization, and it's other people who were "fucking unreasonable" -- no responsibility rests with you it seems. and if it does, the people who read you should not be "callous" and take the time and effort to be be "upfront." what a lot of work that is, to take care of you.
