I don't think it's just about me, but anyway. I have my own ideas for 1p3 which some people enjoy (which come back from the latter Aja/Dante days) which conflicts with Roxy's ideas for the board (which is far enough since it is her board). The experiment with Roxy and myself as co-mods last year worked well for sometime but ended up conflicting with Roxy's ideas, and she asked for me to be demodded. Which is what happened and it was fair enough, as 1p3 really is her board.

I do have ideas for a board consisting of the foolishness, loose talk and mild anarchy of Aja/Dante and "nu-1p3", which I believe would work well under the ILX banner. I don't hold my breath for it being implemented (because it would be no 'Ask Chaki')...and so it'll be back to 1p3 or another board and we'll be back in the very same position in a few weeks time. As usual.

I'm open to anybody having a board for anything reasonable here -- I think the current crop are more a quirk of ILX history than any sort of planned thing, and they have a very small impact on the site's load.

I prefer to have boards that are about stuff (even if they stay quiet) like I Love Cars or I Like Computers. I am against another Meta-style board, especially while all the stuff Pashmina is talking about is settling down, but it doesn't sound like you're talking about that.

(New secret boards are pretty much out for the foreseeable, but I'm definitely glad we tried it)

the guy started 7 inappropriate threads on 1p3, was warned by a mod, then did it again, and was banned. now he is dickhurt. all the things he describes he wants in a board:

a) doesn't have grady as a terrible mod
b) has me, and maybe other cool dudes as mods to filter out the chaki's of this world hating on people
c) allows random post threads
d) has THE FAMOUS CHICKEN
e) let's people kick back and chill

already exist in the ITR world (including The Famous Chicken). it would seem futile to start another board.

Yeah, it definitely wouldn't be meta. I can appreciate any reluctance due to the fact that it wouldn't be a board about *something*...but it certainly wouldn't be yet another Dom and Chaki lol meta lol post party.

here's a consideration: arguments bitching about other people don't help. that you and chaki/grady don't get along won't get you a new board if that's all it's about
