The real problem here seems to be pretty clear.

Unfortunately Dan has derailed/locked enough threads this past week or so with his tantrums to the extent that ILx has become far more of a chore and far less fun, either to read or to post on, and when things degenerate to the level that even a moderator can't keep his cool it's time to pull the plug. I experience more than enough of this crap at work; don't need to see it on a messageboard which is supposed to be about fun.

I'll pop back and see how things are in a month or so but am convinced that this was not what ILx was originally supposed to be about and am not overly optimistic that there will have been an improvement.

xp like it's nice that moka is excited enough about music to start a 100 singles of the decade list, but should know that it would be better to probably start a thread on a more focused topic if she doesn't want a dogpile.

i can see how you might get that, but i started this thread to make clear that i meant something else, since i didn't get a chance to clarify before it was locked.

my issue was not with the message that moka the poster needed to improve but the fact that it was handled atrociously by people who were claiming to know how things worked around here
