Is it something to do with what thread you try it on? Or just randomness? It's pretty annoying to not be able to do it on super-long threads.

Hmm, well I just realized that you can pretty easily do this yourself by just manually lowering the number in the "bookmarkedmessageid=XXXXXXX" URL, so uh, never mind!
