Post Here When You See An Acura ILX IRL

yesterday while giving a co-worker a ride home, I saw a black Acura ILX in the next lane over, it made a left turn on Adeline St.

it figures that this is like this poorest reviewed car in production

I've heard that the seldom-seen CEO of ILX drives a gold one with "OTM" vanity plates.

at the time the ILX was seen, we were talking about the zen of sailing and comparing it to driving

i see these all the time, they look aight and are reasonably priced but i can't imagine springing for one rather than just getting a civic or accord w/ upgrades

Given that Acura is a Honda brand, and that there really is pretty much no reason to buy a low-end Acura over an upgraded Honda, it clearly just exists for someone who needs a "luxury" logo on their car.

I rarely see an ILX, I see plenty of MDXors though

actually fwiw it looks like the ILX has some features you don't get with a high-end accord and the engine is bigger (but accord is a turbo so it's higher horsepower). Some people don't like turbo engines, but the one on the touring accord is pretty damn powerful.

maroon ILX on Hwy 780 near Benicia

a white ILX almost ran me over in a pedestrian crossing a couple weeks ago. forgot to post it here until now when i just saw another (maroon this time)
