End of Year: Mileage (nerdy stats alert)

401 miles. 1,700ish for the year so far.

For whatever bizarre reason my gamin stopped recording after I put pressed the lap button after lunch today. Even though the total is right (at least in Garmin connect) there is not record of anything past 56.7km where lunch was.

242 miles with 10,000 feet climbed in July, which is disappointing, but I lost two weekends of riding to visiting friends, and I got hit by a car 13 days ago and haven't been on the Cube or done more than 10 miles in one go since then.

Oh and I missed about six miles due to Strava user error the other day. Cos that makes all the difference.

Makes me feel a little better about having lost 4 miles yesterday as I forgot to hit the record button on Strava. Went back out and did the ride again, but not quite the same.

Exactly 500 miles for September (I kept riding round the block last night at the end of my ride until I'd hit the magic number). Easily my best for September and I'm now through the 4,000 miles barrier for the year for the first time ever (with three months to spare as well).

Approx 345 miles for September. Less than 250 to go to 3,000. Baby due in six weeks so I'll be lucky to get much past that.

551km, so about 342 miles. Rounded off the month with a 93 mile cycle on Monday, my longest ever.

Capped 3,000 for the year today, only the second time I've managed it.

Not gonna ride today or tomorrow, so 283 miles in October with 15,600 feet of climbing. Baby arrives next month, so no idea how much more I'll get through.

335 for November. My best November ever, usually I pretty much give up around now.

Nov: 328.5mi, 22h 55m in the saddle, 19,446ft climbed.

Most of that was in the last ten days - had some time off work and made sure i got out every day, despite the poor weather. Think my chain's had it now, though. Can't see me doing much in December.

180 miles in November, which is pretty good considering that we had a baby on the 18th.

I cycled 3,361 miles this year, give or take. 238ish hours in the saddle, 169k feet climbed, hit by two cars.

Just shy of 150 miles in December.

I smashed my mileage record this year. The most I'd managed before was 3,722 but this year I broke through the *magical* 4,000-mile barrier with months to spare. I even had an outside chance of breaking through the 5,000-mile barrier this month, but I got ill and didn't ride at all for most of my Christmas break. So just 175 for December and 4,817 for the year. I don't think I'll get anywhere near that in 2015, though.

(irrelevant correction: my previous best was 3,800)
