551km, so about 342 miles. Rounded off the month with a 93 mile cycle on Monday, my longest ever.

michaellambert, Thursday, 2 October 2014 09:05 (ten years ago)

353 miles, 22k feet of climb in September. I'll be lucky to hit 4,000 miles for the year.

ugh (lukas), Thursday, 2 October 2014 22:37 (ten years ago)

three weeks pass...

Capped 3,000 for the year today, only the second time I've managed it.

Hey Bob (Scik Mouthy), Sunday, 26 October 2014 21:24 (ten years ago)

Not gonna ride today or tomorrow, so 283 miles in October with 15,600 feet of climbing. Baby arrives next month, so no idea how much more I'll get through.

Hey Bob (Scik Mouthy), Thursday, 30 October 2014 13:11 (ten years ago)

182.7 miles for October (9,316ft). Hit 800 miles for the year to date (only started in mid July).

michaellambert, Saturday, 1 November 2014 00:24 (ten years ago)

Slackened right off now, 278 for October

Turtleneck Work Solutions (Nasty, Brutish & Short), Saturday, 1 November 2014 20:47 (ten years ago)

552.9 mi for October, 5699.1 mi for the year. Not too bad considering i'm racing cx this fall, which actually ends up lowering my mileage.

chemical aioli (Hunt3r), Sunday, 2 November 2014 00:19 (ten years ago)

four weeks pass...

335 for November. My best November ever, usually I pretty much give up around now.

Turtleneck Work Solutions (Nasty, Brutish & Short), Sunday, 30 November 2014 15:08 (ten years ago)

Nov: 328.5mi, 22h 55m in the saddle, 19,446ft climbed.

Most of that was in the last ten days - had some time off work and made sure i got out every day, despite the poor weather. Think my chain's had it now, though. Can't see me doing much in December.

michaellambert, Sunday, 30 November 2014 18:32 (ten years ago)

180 miles in November, which is pretty good considering that we had a baby on the 18th.

Hey Bob (Scik Mouthy), Wednesday, 3 December 2014 13:24 (ten years ago)

don't know if i gave congratulations in strava, so congratulations!

chemical aioli (Hunt3r), Wednesday, 3 December 2014 13:54 (ten years ago)

Thank you!

Hey Bob (Scik Mouthy), Wednesday, 3 December 2014 20:29 (ten years ago)

ditto

Turtleneck Work Solutions (Nasty, Brutish & Short), Thursday, 4 December 2014 09:10 (ten years ago)

three weeks pass...

I cycled 3,361 miles this year, give or take. 238ish hours in the saddle, 169k feet climbed, hit by two cars.

Hey Bob (Scik Mouthy), Wednesday, 31 December 2014 22:45 (ten years ago)

Just shy of 150 miles in December.

Hey Bob (Scik Mouthy), Wednesday, 31 December 2014 22:55 (ten years ago)

3,658 miles in 2014

Shooting for 4,500 in 2015

the most painstaking, humorless people in the world (lukas), Thursday, 1 January 2015 00:26 (ten years ago)

I'll be happy with 2k this year. #baby

Hey Bob (Scik Mouthy), Thursday, 1 January 2015 07:55 (ten years ago)

Yeah, baby

Turtleneck Work Solutions (Nasty, Brutish & Short), Thursday, 1 January 2015 09:07 (ten years ago)

I smashed my mileage record this year. The most I'd managed before was 3,722 but this year I broke through the *magical* 4,000-mile barrier with months to spare. I even had an outside chance of breaking through the 5,000-mile barrier this month, but I got ill and didn't ride at all for most of my Christmas break. So just 175 for December and 4,817 for the year. I don't think I'll get anywhere near that in 2015, though.

Turtleneck Work Solutions (Nasty, Brutish & Short), Thursday, 1 January 2015 09:12 (ten years ago)

(irrelevant correction: my previous best was 3,800)

Turtleneck Work Solutions (Nasty, Brutish & Short), Thursday, 1 January 2015 09:54 (ten years ago)

1,128 miles in 2014, nothing in December. Hoping to hit 2,000 miles in 2015.

michaellambert, Friday, 2 January 2015 14:18 (ten years ago)

one month passes...

200ish miles in January.

Hey Bob (Scik Mouthy), Wednesday, 4 February 2015 12:44 (ten years ago)

462 miles in January, my biggest month since December 2012

178.8 - ahead of target for Feb. Trying to do 2015 miles or more this year.

michaellambert, Sunday, 1 March 2015 23:32 (ten years ago)

270 miles, eek

the most painstaking, humorless people in the world (lukas), Monday, 2 March 2015 04:25 (ten years ago)

About 110. Damn baby.

Hey Bob (Scik Mouthy), Thursday, 5 March 2015 14:19 (ten years ago)

What happened to this sub-forum? It's dying.

Hey Bob (Scik Mouthy), Monday, 16 March 2015 11:39 (ten years ago)

Cant type now too busy curating strava badges

men without hat tips (Hunt3r), Monday, 16 March 2015 12:40 (ten years ago)

I swear I'm gonna get out more this year

gbx, Friday, 20 March 2015 22:19 (ten years ago)

I've no one to ride with though, is the issue

gbx, Friday, 20 March 2015 22:19 (ten years ago)

287 for March - a bit down on where I should be

(Meme From) Essex Press (Nasty, Brutish & Short), Tuesday, 31 March 2015 22:17 (ten years ago)

269 miles, ouch. April will be better - not traveling this month.

the most painstaking, humorless people in the world (lukas), Tuesday, 31 March 2015 22:40 (ten years ago)

1,001 miles so far this year - this pace isn't going to get me to my goal of 4,500, especially with all the travel planned for later in the year ...

the most painstaking, humorless people in the world (lukas), Tuesday, 31 March 2015 22:42 (ten years ago)

332.9 miles in March, 575.9 in total for 2015 so far. Ahead of where I expected to be at this point in the year.

michaellambert, Tuesday, 31 March 2015 23:09 (ten years ago)

579.2mi for march, not counting 25 miles or so of rides to the train station. i'm planning to ride my mtb more this summer, so my mileage will be down- focusing more on hours from here.

men without hat tips (Hunt3r), Wednesday, 1 April 2015 04:01 (ten years ago)

412mi for March, my biggest month in years. 855mi so far on the year, nearly half of what I did all last year. This year is looking up!

sous les paves, Friday, 3 April 2015 05:24 (ten years ago)

two weeks pass...

229 in March, 687 for the year so far. On track to get to 2,000.

Hey Bob (Scik Mouthy), Wednesday, 22 April 2015 09:04 (ten years ago)

Just realised the month has changed. Anyway, a pleasing 445 for April.

(Meme From) Essex Press (Nasty, Brutish & Short), Sunday, 3 May 2015 21:11 (ten years ago)

229.5 in April. So a slight (!!!) improvement.

Have my first big ride since Nora was born on Saturday - we're heading for Dartmoor. Excited!

Hey Bob (Scik Mouthy), Thursday, 7 May 2015 11:05 (ten years ago)

632.6 mi which is fine considering weather and attention going to other stuff. i do wish i was riding my mtb at all, it's just not happening. if i have to get in a car to go to a trailhead, i pretty much hate that. theres like a 30 min transactional cost on every ride.

irl sweatpants (Hunt3r), Thursday, 7 May 2015 15:26 (ten years ago)

SAME

this doesn't bother me nearly as much for hiking or BC skiing tho

gbx, Friday, 8 May 2015 01:37 (ten years ago)

skiing is ~different~ :)

irl sweatpants (Hunt3r), Friday, 8 May 2015 02:25 (ten years ago)

i miss ski season :(

gbx, Sunday, 10 May 2015 21:23 (ten years ago)

we got over 5" of snow in my yard this morning, so i miss bike season. with all of the rain and snow this week, i've had a whole week on the trainer. on the plus, we only lost one tree limb.

irl sweatpants (Hunt3r), Sunday, 10 May 2015 23:01 (ten years ago)

three weeks pass...

375 for May. A windy and colder than usual month. Looking forward to some proper summer soon. Broke my carbon frame in the middle of the month, but have had it fixed.

(Meme From) Essex Press (Nasty, Brutish & Short), Sunday, 31 May 2015 13:55 (ten years ago)

345.8 miles for May. Managed 351.1 in April and thought I was getting nowhere near that this month, so I am pleased.
