End of Year: Mileage (nerdy stats alert)

I cycled 3,361 miles this year, give or take. 238ish hours in the saddle, 169k feet climbed, hit by two cars.

Just shy of 150 miles in December.

I smashed my mileage record this year. The most I'd managed before was 3,722 but this year I broke through the *magical* 4,000-mile barrier with months to spare. I even had an outside chance of breaking through the 5,000-mile barrier this month, but I got ill and didn't ride at all for most of my Christmas break. So just 175 for December and 4,817 for the year. I don't think I'll get anywhere near that in 2015, though.

(irrelevant correction: my previous best was 3,800)

1,001 miles so far this year - this pace isn't going to get me to my goal of 4,500, especially with all the travel planned for later in the year ...

332.9 miles in March, 575.9 in total for 2015 so far. Ahead of where I expected to be at this point in the year.

579.2mi for march, not counting 25 miles or so of rides to the train station. i'm planning to ride my mtb more this summer, so my mileage will be down- focusing more on hours from here.

632.6 mi which is fine considering weather and attention going to other stuff. i do wish i was riding my mtb at all, it's just not happening. if i have to get in a car to go to a trailhead, i pretty much hate that. theres like a 30 min transactional cost on every ride.

i miss ski season :(

we got over 5" of snow in my yard this morning, so i miss bike season. with all of the rain and snow this week, i've had a whole week on the trainer. on the plus, we only lost one tree limb.

375 for May. A windy and colder than usual month. Looking forward to some proper summer soon. Broke my carbon frame in the middle of the month, but have had it fixed.

345.8 miles for May. Managed 351.1 in April and thought I was getting nowhere near that this month, so I am pleased.

232 for May, which is a tiny increase on March and April. On 1,000 for the year so far, which is halfway to my first year of fatherhood target. Should hopefully beat May easily this month, as we're planning a Bristol-to-Exeter (basically redoing this - http://www.strava.com/activities/156277658 - but shorter and without the Blackdowns) at the end of the month.

312 miles in June. Sooo not hitting 4.5k this year :/

288 miles for June; missed 40+ on Saturday due to injury but did about 30+ unexpectedly yesterday when i took the afternoon off and pootled up and down the estuary.
