A word of warning - that Assos cream eats holes in your shorts if you get it on the lycra. You end up with a sort of see-through effect on your arse - not a good look.

Admittedly I pack that for long hiking trips to prevent incovenient chaffing more tha for cycling but it does the trick.

Also, wash at a high enough temperature to kill any yeasts and bacteria.

im sure you know, the first thing any non fred does after getting off the bike is get those shorts off. maybe with food in other hand.
