I mean ow, it has been feeling really bruised for days. I never get this problem on the Merckx which, admittedly does have a slit down the saddle.

Also, if you are riding clipless pedals then you are pulling up on the legs and therefore into the saddle.

one month passes...

New saddle, a WTB one bought and fitted. Much less arse hurt much more chafing. Will probably have to start wearing a chamois under jeans, or get callouses where there ought not to be callouses.
