All are multiple story characters by the way, except for Mitsuhirato who is by far the best and most evil one-shot villain. Must be the three-piece suit.

He drives into a jaywalking Haddock & then joins in the chase for a page or two. I like his driving gloves & also his blazing-eyed hunger to drive fast & well for the justice of a cause he only just heard about & knows nothing of.

The ancient-aliens scientist-hypnotist = Mik Kanrokitoff. I like his exasperation with the entire Tintin gang, they suck!

As for the original (not IMO v inspiring) list, I do like what a mensch Bianca C is when Tintin and Haddock ask her to hide them from the Taschist feds and she swings straight into well thought-through action. Also Milanese!

Castafiore is a main character imo. Amazing character. I think about “AND NEXT TIME, DON’T OVERCOOK MY PASTA” daily.

Tintin’s untethered enthusiasm for his friend Chang made me feel strange at the time. Why? Is it a crush? Or is it just that Chang is perhaps the only other teenager in this entire series?

Rastapopulous sucks 100% but Allan, poor tragic Allan, is great. I need to re-read Flight 714 it’s been decades and I forget what happened
