I had a good time, there was a really good record shop! Auckland isn't exactly the most happening town but drinks are cheap and the people were nice until they discovered I live in Sydney.
Oh, and I caught some NZ television - they had a show on Saturday morning dedicated to going around the country cleaning up dirty houses!!
