Occasional exploding is just human nature for lots of people iirc. That goes for imploding too. How you handle your explosion or implosion is what matters most - not the explosion or implosion itself. If someone was exploding every other millisecond like a firecracker then it might matter most but a blast every few months is entirely human

I'm not offended but I do think it's germane to the whole gist of this discussion. lj can be a thoughtful poster and be more specific than 'fascist state' since the US has thousands of jursdictions, each different than the other. Saying the sherrif in that county are dicks is totally fair game- I made that point myself - but I wouldn't make any sweeping statements when what I really mean to do is express sympathy for a specific incident that happened to nijoli.
