I'd be late on the 24th (dinner with a cousin), but it's possible. I'd prefer a different week, as if I am to stay night-bus late (and if I can't get there until late, it's pointless coming at all if I don't stay late) I want to book the next day off work, and next week is a three day week for us anyway, and there's too much to do to book another day off.

Great! I'm not sure which zone people are located in, I guess we'll pick something central closer to the time. Just as long as their are no trees around. I lived in London for six months and I had this horrible habit of climbing trees after too many pints. I would wake up the next day and wonder why my clothes had crap all over them. William, singing is not compulsory. I've been to two karaoke FAPs and not sung at all. If you're very lucky, this practice may continue.

Carey, visiting ILXers generally seem to get a good turnout. It was Anthony Easton's first London FAP where I first showed up, for instance, something like a year ago. Central locations do get the best turnout too - go too far in any direction, and it will be inconvenient for some.

It's Archigram yeah, William I didn't have you down as a Crydamoure man! heh, yeah I prefer their single from last year "Carnival" (a definite search), not sure of the name of my mates tune, they won't tell me! They're called Hystereo, no releases yet, I think it's all being carefully planned.

You missed some fun afterwards Matt, we went to see the Rooty DJs, which was good house fun and the club was really wild with a great atmosphere for a few hours. The only problem was they'd stopped serving drinks when we got there.

However this was quickly rectified by Phil hobknobbing with some Bugged Out people and producing some free beer armbands!

Nah, for some reason Source sent us the Crydamoure 'Waves II' compilation this week (it's out June 30th). Archigram mixed it... there is some deeply quality shizzee on there, including that Carnaval one you mentioned. Very, very nice.

Well, I'm dead fucking sober - lots of people there, a few of whom I didn't know (to those, I was the skinny kid in the suit, with the glasses), place rammed, some tramp got in a fight with security theat involved them dong some strange square dance with one of the outdoor table and chair sets, waltzing violently up and down the front of the pub.

The Student socialists protest marched past, and were generally agreed to have been rather underwhelming.

I left around eight because I hadn't told my parents where I was. I get home, they'd just assumed I was staying out uptown. GRAH.

This makes me an utter definite for the next FAP, because I was rubbish this evening and wholeheartedly apologise to everyone else for my... rubbishness. Jerry, I'm sure you did Mr Curtis proud.

Sorry I had to put in the briefest of appearances... found out that yes, indeed, HSA expected me to accompany him to the Soundart Thing at the ICA. So I came by for exactly one drink, found myself chatting to someone who turned out to be Nordicskilz, and then the random tramp incident - it was very funny, unintentionally so, because he kept picking up chairs to attack the bouncer with and the bouncer kept grabbing them away until the bouncer had a chair under each arm, and then the tramp grabbed another chair and ran off.

And then HSA arrived to drag me away (slightly disturbed to find me drinking with EIGHTEEN BOYS from the INTERNET but pleased that he managed to drag me away) and we went to the ICA to listen to sound recordings of sheep shearing. You think I'm kidding?

But, erm yes. I wish I'd stayed. It looked like it was going to be a fun one! And HSA wants to come to the next FAP! (I think Mark S. really impressed him with the bear story.) Ha ha! Mark S. embarrassing me by telling HSA "Oh, BTW, I have that PICTURE you are looking for in the archive!" and instead of being mad, HSA asked "Oh, you have access to the archives? Can you find the picture of my KITTY that I gave them?"

Ace. I just wish I didn't have such a hangover.
