The best way of getting there from the centre of town though is getting a 29 (Trafalgar Square/TCR/Camden), 91/259 (Kings Cross), 253 (Euston) and getting off on the first stop past the Holloway Road by the McDonalds/KFC/Pizza Hut threeway lovefest. Bakers on the corner, Swimmer down that road.

Oh no, the Swimmer is lovely and more then three hundred yards away around two corners. Safe as houses, and I personally have never been murdered in the vincinity nor know anyone who has.

Litten Tree is (was) a chain, and this is exactly the same except it changed its name. It is apparently famous for its students (not murders) on the outside. Saying this about a pub is like saying a cruise liner is famous for its leaks.

when did you guys leave Plastic People? i quite enjoyed that club - DJs were good (dropped DFA remix of Chromeo, early Prince, even nicked My Obious Idea of 'Blue Monday' over 'I Need Your Love') but overdid it with the repeating of loops at times (laptop bizness) - would def go back there sometime

the FAP was superb - one of the all time greats for me - i think just because i) it was at Le Swim and ii) HUGE attendance - most i've ever seen at a FAP outside of Club FT - gawd bless you all

Are you sure it was the biggest FAP ever? I thought Trig Brother 2003 would've beaten it. And possibly Tom's wedding FAP as well. But it was almost certainly the biggest normal sit-in-a-pub type FAP.

tracer-- i mentioned ILXapalooza to my parents when they called yesterday, and they are fine with it. (very well trained to expect random hordes of young people showing up at all hours of the night)

for those of you that don't know what we're talking about, this is tracer's plan of a worldwide FAP. i volunteered our place in michigan because we've got a big enough lawn to camp, a barn/carriage house in case it's wet, swamp to canoe in, and (forgot to mention) a hot tub.

can you even imagine if this actually happened?
