I found myself itching to play some football this weekend. Did anyone else fancy a jumpers-for-goalposts-style kickaround in Primrose Hill next Sunday?

Jerry the Nipper (Jerrynipper), Monday, 16 February 2004 11:46 (twenty-two years ago)

2pm-ish?

Jerry the Nipper (Jerrynipper), Monday, 16 February 2004 11:47 (twenty-two years ago)

sorry dude, I'll be fishing.

chris (chris), Monday, 16 February 2004 11:53 (twenty-two years ago)

For a scary second I misread that "h" as a "t".

Jerry the Nipper (Jerrynipper), Monday, 16 February 2004 11:54 (twenty-two years ago)

I will if I'm not busy, but a friend is in town next weekend and I haven't yet been told which day he's around.

Markelby (Mark C), Monday, 16 February 2004 11:56 (twenty-two years ago)

I'll be at my organisation's Scottish conference that day. Number one fans event in Scotland, dontchaknow.

Dave B (daveb), Monday, 16 February 2004 12:08 (twenty-two years ago)

I'm around that day! It depends how late Saturday is though I guess, my friends call me "Jan Molby", at least they did last time we played, about 6 months ago.

Ronan (Ronan), Monday, 16 February 2004 12:24 (twenty-two years ago)

He was a superlative passer of the ball.

Ronan (Ronan), Monday, 16 February 2004 12:24 (twenty-two years ago)

Someone else will have to take my mantle as the best crosser on Ilx.

At AFC Wimbledon, I am best cross dresser, which is a title I fear I shan't lose for some time. But I digress.

Dave B (daveb), Monday, 16 February 2004 12:28 (twenty-two years ago)

I'd totally love to, if others are up for it!

Gregory Henry (Gregory Henry), Monday, 16 February 2004 15:57 (twenty-two years ago)

Am up for it, weather and current sniffles permitting.

darren (darren), Monday, 16 February 2004 16:08 (twenty-two years ago)

If this is a fighting thread then I'm game for a ruck.

Nutty Nigel (Nutty Nigel), Monday, 16 February 2004 16:09 (twenty-two years ago)

get yourself down then C-man.

chris (chris), Monday, 16 February 2004 16:12 (twenty-two years ago)

Hmmm weather, hangover etc permitting...

Daniel (dancity), Monday, 16 February 2004 18:39 (twenty-two years ago)

Would be up for it normally, but can't make this Sunday. Bugger! I was thinking of suggesting some sort of match along the lines of The Sinister v ILX thingy of a couple of yrs ago. Maybe in March?

Dr. C (Dr. C), Tuesday, 17 February 2004 12:55 (twenty-two years ago)

i'm up for it, whatever the weather

stevem (blueski), Tuesday, 17 February 2004 13:04 (twenty-two years ago)

I don't think I can do this Sunday - I'm planning to go to Tate Modern for the Brancusi and Judd shows, an irresistible combination. If I do that early (depends on others) I guess there is an outside chance of my coming along for this too. Those who were at last year's Regent's Park kickabout will recall that, astonishingly, this 44 year old badly asthmatic bloke who hasn't played any sport in years wasn't terribly fit, so I'm no good for much running around. Of course, I've started smoking again since, so I expect that will have improved matters hugely...

Martin Skidmore (Martin Skidmore), Tuesday, 17 February 2004 13:24 (twenty-two years ago)

Heard a snatch of the long-range weather forecast this morning on R4 which promised "a return of winter" this weekend. Coupled with a lot of people being out of town this weekend, how do people feel about the 29th (leap day!) or the 7th?

Jerry the Nipper (Jerrynipper), Tuesday, 17 February 2004 13:42 (twenty-two years ago)

Could do either, but marginally prefer March 7

Dr. C (Dr. C), Tuesday, 17 February 2004 13:57 (twenty-two years ago)

OK - the Doc is the patron saint of ILx soccer, so I will go with him. Besides, all the ILx men will no doubt be being proposed to their ladyfolk on the 29th. So:

ILX football: 2pm, Sunday March 7, Primrose Hill London

I reckon we could feasibly get a North London vs South London game going.

Jerry the Nipper (Jerrynipper), Tuesday, 17 February 2004 14:03 (twenty-two years ago)

some of us are in Spain that weekend :(

stevem (blueski), Tuesday, 17 February 2004 14:05 (twenty-two years ago)

i mean, YAY! :)

but can we not do the 29th? marriage proposals can be made in the evening, after we've all gone home from the pub...

stevem (blueski), Tuesday, 17 February 2004 14:06 (twenty-two years ago)

There will be quite a few ilxers in bilbao that sunday, watching some professional football. Not sure how many of them would be wanting to play it themselves though, except Chris and Jonnie.

x-post

Vicky (Vicky), Tuesday, 17 February 2004 14:08 (twenty-two years ago)

N v S London looks tasty, v. tasty. I am N of the river, by about 200 yards, but in SW London.

Dr. C (Dr. C), Tuesday, 17 February 2004 14:12 (twenty-two years ago)

Could A moderator change the date in the title of this thread to March 7?

(Apologies to the Bilbao Geezers - but maybe we could make this a semi-regular thing as the weather gets better?)

Jerry the Nipper (Jerrynipper), Tuesday, 17 February 2004 14:23 (twenty-two years ago)

Changed it. I go to hospital the next day, and I'm not sure whether that makes this more or less of a good idea for me.

Martin Skidmore (Martin Skidmore), Tuesday, 17 February 2004 18:28 (twenty-two years ago)

Oh, I might come along, but I dunno if I could side with either north or south London to be honest, both would be an act of treason :)

jel -- (jel), Tuesday, 17 February 2004 19:03 (twenty-two years ago)

Thought I would just punt this up to the top of the board for people who didn't see it last week.

Jerry the Nipper (Jerrynipper), Monday, 23 February 2004 13:42 (twenty-two years ago)

BOOOOO

stevem (blueski), Monday, 23 February 2004 14:02 (twenty-two years ago)

we should do this in glasgow.

cozen (Cozen), Monday, 23 February 2004 14:11 (twenty-two years ago)

I can do 29th or 7th.

Markelby (Mark C), Monday, 23 February 2004 14:12 (twenty-two years ago)

I would play football with youse, for the North London side.

Eyeball Kicks (Eyeball Kicks), Monday, 23 February 2004 15:04 (twenty-two years ago)

North London's ass is going down big stylee. I will play. starting up front, moving into the net as nausea kicks in.

Dave B (daveb), Monday, 23 February 2004 15:30 (twenty-two years ago)

As the Doc says... this is beginning to look Tasty.

Jerry the Nipper (Jerrynipper), Monday, 23 February 2004 15:31 (twenty-two years ago)

I will demonstrate the proverbial eyeball kick.

Eyeball Kicks (Eyeball Kicks), Monday, 23 February 2004 15:36 (twenty-two years ago)

i'm half tempted but it's sandwiched between a night of ruin on the 7th and a v important job interview on the 9th => i'd probably better not.

toby (tsg20), Monday, 23 February 2004 15:37 (twenty-two years ago)

Left back or sweeper for me please. South London Massive.

Markelby (Mark C), Monday, 23 February 2004 17:36 (twenty-two years ago)

Are you going to fill the all-important Danny Mills role, Barry?

Jerry the Nipper (Jerrynipper), Monday, 23 February 2004 17:38 (twenty-two years ago)

we should do this in glasgow.

This would be rubbish in Glasgow as we can't even organise a FAP. However, I would maybe be up for it, if girlies are allowed.

ailsa (ailsa), Monday, 23 February 2004 17:40 (twenty-two years ago)

Left back, not right back, JtN. I fancy myself as more Mauricio Taricco.

Markelby (Mark C), Monday, 23 February 2004 17:45 (twenty-two years ago)

if the South wins it's only cos half of North London won't be there

stevem (blueski), Monday, 23 February 2004 17:50 (twenty-two years ago)

Why don't you wait till you lose before making your excuses, mannion?

Markelby (Mark C), Monday, 23 February 2004 17:55 (twenty-two years ago)

Time for trash talking begins in a ILE/WWE crossover madness.

North London - your momma is so fat, they moulded the Millenium Dome on her ass.

Dave B (daveb), Monday, 23 February 2004 18:15 (twenty-two years ago)

That's true.

Eyeball Kicks (Eyeball Kicks), Monday, 23 February 2004 18:27 (twenty-two years ago)

and your mum's so fat that when she cuts herself she bleeds gravy.

chris (chris), Tuesday, 24 February 2004 08:55 (twenty-two years ago)

You know those big rolls of paper they use to print the newspapers on? That's yo momma's bog roll.

Dave B (daveb), Tuesday, 24 February 2004 11:57 (twenty-two years ago)

your mum's so fat that bin men try to empty her

chris (chris), Tuesday, 24 February 2004 11:59 (twenty-two years ago)

your mum's so fat the bin men drive to work in her

stevem (blueski), Tuesday, 24 February 2004 12:04 (twenty-two years ago)

your mum's so fat she has a watch on each arm, one for each timezone

chris (chris), Tuesday, 24 February 2004 12:05 (twenty-two years ago)

yo momma so fat she calls them yaymerangs

stevem (blueski), Tuesday, 24 February 2004 12:39 (twenty-two years ago)

Up front or midfield for me pls. South obv.

Dr. C (Dr. C), Tuesday, 24 February 2004 12:58 (twenty-two years ago)

Yo mama so fat when her beeper goes off, people think she's reversing

Yo mama so fat she went to the movies and sat next to everyone

Yo mama so fat she was floating in the ocean and spain claimed her for then new world

Yo mama so fat when she sits around the house, she SITS AROUND THE HOUSE!

Yo mama so fat she fell in love and broke it.

Yo mama so fat when she gets on the scale it says 'to be continued'.

Yo mama so fat I had to take a train and two buses just to get on the her good side!

Yo mama so fat she's on both sides of the family!

Yo mama so fat when she fell over she rocked herself asleep trying to get up again.

Yo mama so fat that when whe was born, she gave the hospital stretch marks.

Dave B (daveb), Tuesday, 24 February 2004 13:13 (twenty-two years ago)

Your mum's so fat she wipes herself with a mattress.

Canada Briggs (Canada Briggs), Tuesday, 24 February 2004 13:18 (twenty-two years ago)

Your mum's so fat that she's half Scottish, half Irish and half American.

I am coming to cheer on the Southerners with... perhaps, a bottle of pre-mixed rum'n'coke. Lovely. MAYBE rum and strawberry milkshake...

Sarah (starry), Tuesday, 24 February 2004 13:32 (twenty-two years ago)

we'll drink to you all.

chris (chris), Tuesday, 24 February 2004 13:36 (twenty-two years ago)

You northern monkey's are going home in a fucking ambulance.

Dave B (daveb), Tuesday, 24 February 2004 13:44 (twenty-two years ago)

what? an easyjet one?

chris (chris), Tuesday, 24 February 2004 13:48 (twenty-two years ago)

I'd like to play. I don't care for which side (born and mostly grew up in South, have lived in North for past 8 years).

Canada Briggs (Canada Briggs), Tuesday, 24 February 2004 14:44 (twenty-two years ago)

You could always kick for both sides?

Sarah (starry), Tuesday, 24 February 2004 14:45 (twenty-two years ago)

Only if you pull me off at half time, darlin'.

Canada Briggs (Canada Briggs), Tuesday, 24 February 2004 15:30 (twenty-two years ago)

This thread has become a marvel.

Matt DC (Matt DC), Wednesday, 25 February 2004 16:13 (twenty-two years ago)

and you'll have an orange in your mouth after she pulls you off

stevem (blueski), Wednesday, 25 February 2004 16:16 (twenty-two years ago)

You can almost... TASTE the excitement.

Can we have a role call of people who are likely to show? With various ex-Sinister ringers I think we should easily have 10-15 players...

Jerry the Nipper (Jerrynipper), Monday, 1 March 2004 11:03 (twenty-two years ago)

Role call time, eh? I can't commit myself just yet as I have a leo sayer on the Saturday and play will depend on state of head on Sunday morning...

Canada Briggs (Canada Briggs), Monday, 1 March 2004 11:15 (twenty-two years ago)

I only just worked out what Leo Sayer is rhyming slang for.

Jerry the Nipper (Jerrynipper), Monday, 1 March 2004 11:21 (twenty-two years ago)

I'll be there - where and when?

Markelby (Mark C), Monday, 1 March 2004 11:22 (twenty-two years ago)

All dayer? Michael Mayer? Boris Becker oh hold on that doesn't work?

Sarah (starry), Monday, 1 March 2004 11:23 (twenty-two years ago)

Date with BuffythevampireSlayer?

Sarah (starry), Monday, 1 March 2004 11:23 (twenty-two years ago)

i thought you said ex-sinister mingers!

There's a chance I'm actually going to be in glasgow this weekend - but will come back for footie if it's on on Sunday! I live north of the river and I am a versatile player who can play just as badly in any position. I used to be able to run quite fast at least but I had twisted my ankle badly last year and it's never the same again.

Glasgow: Fancy a kickabout March 6th? At that kelvin(something) park maybe?

ken c (ken c), Monday, 1 March 2004 11:23 (twenty-two years ago)

i still don't get what Leo Sayer is rhyming slang for

stevem (blueski), Monday, 1 March 2004 11:27 (twenty-two years ago)

are you still addled from Saturday?

chris (chris), Monday, 1 March 2004 11:28 (twenty-two years ago)

ILX Kickabout, Sunday 7 March - meet at the Spread Eagle on Parkway at 2pm and then on to Primrose Hill. Latecomers can meet us there. My mobile = 0779 292 2840.

Jerry the Nipper (Jerrynipper), Monday, 1 March 2004 11:29 (twenty-two years ago)

Including the maybes, so far I make it:

South London
Barry
Me
Dave B
Dr C
Foxy Field
Canada Briggs

North London
Ken
Gregory Henry
Darren
Eyeball Kicks
Jel

Any more?

Jerry the Nipper (Jerrynipper), Monday, 1 March 2004 11:37 (twenty-two years ago)

is this going to be a football boots only job?

toby (tsg20), Monday, 1 March 2004 11:44 (twenty-two years ago)

if the weather stays like this you'll want it to be!

chris (chris), Monday, 1 March 2004 11:45 (twenty-two years ago)

Naked football? At this time of year?

Yes.

Markelby (Mark C), Monday, 1 March 2004 11:46 (twenty-two years ago)

From the looks of the way the teams are shaping up, South London is going to have an average age about 10 years older than North London. I am beginning to ph34r a rerun of the spritely-nippers-run-rings-around-old-cloggers of the sinister-ilx trouncing.

Jerry the Nipper (Jerrynipper), Monday, 1 March 2004 11:55 (twenty-two years ago)

But we are experienced old cynics and will hack, barge and punt our way through their naive faces game plan.

Markelby (Mark C), Monday, 1 March 2004 12:05 (twenty-two years ago)

is this going to be a football boots only job?

I'll be in trainers at least.

Eyeball Kicks (Eyeball Kicks), Monday, 1 March 2004 12:49 (twenty-two years ago)

Moi aussi. I've not owned any boots since I bought a pair of Patricks in 1986. Wow. That's a long time ago and makes me realsie how old I am and how long ago it was that I played football.

Dave B (daveb), Monday, 1 March 2004 12:54 (twenty-two years ago)

What Parkway is this? The one between Regents Park and Camden Town 5tube? I'm not sure if I'll be coming, but if I do I will boost the average of the North London team by quite a few years. And bring its average fitness level down even more dramatically, for the few minutes that I play until I collapse in an ancient asthmatic heap.

Martin Skidmore (Martin Skidmore), Monday, 1 March 2004 13:44 (twenty-two years ago)

that's the one - the one the ODEON cinema is on.

ken c (ken c), Monday, 1 March 2004 13:48 (twenty-two years ago)

ken if yr in glasgow you shd revive a glasgow thread! or the one tht's already going ('what to do in glasgow on a sunday night'). I'm not in town I don't think on the saturday. well I might be during the day. I've met you before, right? it'd be good to meet up again. I doubt kickabout is doable tho. ask dastoor ponzé.

cozen (Cozen), Monday, 1 March 2004 14:00 (twenty-two years ago)

cool! i'll be there from thurs - saturday night... i'm trying glasgow more now!

ken c (ken c), Tuesday, 2 March 2004 17:55 (twenty-two years ago)

According to Telewest, I am in the west London region. I live to the west of the river. I can't come anyway. Unfortunately. I have got some kind of railcard though.

PJ Miller (PJ Miller), Tuesday, 2 March 2004 18:16 (twenty-two years ago)

Can I add myslef to the N London team? (Muswell Hill)

Daniel (dancity), Tuesday, 2 March 2004 21:02 (twenty-two years ago)

Another route one punt to the top of new answers.

Jerry the Nipper (Jerrynipper), Thursday, 4 March 2004 12:14 (twenty-two years ago)

Who has the ball? I have two balls (no, missus, really, ooh cheeky) but no pump; I have an adaptor though. I have a Mitre Ultimax official, autographed by Peter 'She'll be running round Derby with her arm in a sling' Shilton. The Other is luminous yellow.

Dave B (daveb), Thursday, 4 March 2004 12:19 (twenty-two years ago)

I wasn't going to mention it but I did have a very entertaining vision of all of you turning up at the pub and only then realising there was no ball to play with.

Matt DC (Matt DC), Thursday, 4 March 2004 12:20 (twenty-two years ago)

aka your average Sinister footie meet-up - I have bought 4 balls and lost 3 of them because of this.

Markelby (Mark C), Thursday, 4 March 2004 12:26 (twenty-two years ago)

whose ass were you slapping them against to lose them?

chris (chris), Thursday, 4 March 2004 12:28 (twenty-two years ago)

Moderator: please delete Cabbage.

Jerry the Nipper (Jerrynipper), Thursday, 4 March 2004 12:30 (twenty-two years ago)

I'm sorry, I'm a little giddy.

chris (chris), Thursday, 4 March 2004 12:31 (twenty-two years ago)

Interested parties who will not be playing, but might be in the area anyway would like to know if you may be found in a boozer afterwards.

Sarah (starry), Thursday, 4 March 2004 12:35 (twenty-two years ago)

What's that boozer down towards Chalk Farm? The bridge? The station? Something liked that?

Jerry the Nipper (Jerrynipper), Thursday, 4 March 2004 12:36 (twenty-two years ago)

The Engineer!

Jerry the Nipper (Jerrynipper), Thursday, 4 March 2004 12:36 (twenty-two years ago)

The Other is luminous yellow

Incroyable!

Jacques Lacan (daveb), Thursday, 4 March 2004 12:37 (twenty-two years ago)

Tho maybe the Spread Eagle may be easiest.

Jerry the Nipper (Jerrynipper), Thursday, 4 March 2004 12:39 (twenty-two years ago)

This one Stevie? Cor though, if you're hungry I suggest a visit to the chipper instead, BLIMEY-o (sounds scrummy though).

Dave, you just made me spit my coffee out onto the keyboard, I had previously thought this occurence was an URBAN MIFF, you bastard.

Sarah (starry), Thursday, 4 March 2004 12:40 (twenty-two years ago)

Nooooooooo not the Spread Eagle, ecch britpop rubbish; make it a NICE pub i.e. one more in the Chalk Farm direction than Camden Town.

Liz :x (Liz :x), Thursday, 4 March 2004 12:41 (twenty-two years ago)

Actually The Engineer is v nice and has a nice space out the back too (plus it is closer to Primrose Hill for knackered post-football legs).

So The Engineer it is!

http://www.the-engineer.com/pages/howtofindus.html

Jerry the Nipper (Jerrynipper), Thursday, 4 March 2004 12:42 (twenty-two years ago)

Well there's always the LOCK TAVERN!

Fancyapint suggests a pub which looks GRATE up until "and the marvellous live jazz sessions on Sunday afternoons" bit. ER NO TA MATEY.

Sarah (starry), Thursday, 4 March 2004 12:43 (twenty-two years ago)

Marvellous. Any idea of when you'll be out of puff and in need of a pint? Rob & I may be mocking goths/buying records in Camden earlier on Sunday.

xpost blecch blecch live jazz

Liz :x (Liz :x), Thursday, 4 March 2004 12:46 (twenty-two years ago)

I reckon if we meet up at 2 @ the Spread Eagle we should be at the park by 2.30 - play for a couple of hours or so? So at the Engineer by 5.30/6 I reckon? You could always give me a call - my mobile # is upthread.

Jerry the Nipper (Jerrynipper), Thursday, 4 March 2004 12:49 (twenty-two years ago)

Ah Liz that be my plan as well*. I also wanna go round the charity shops, but are they open at all on Sundays?

*except I will be BEING a goth, obv

Sarah (starry), Thursday, 4 March 2004 12:49 (twenty-two years ago)

U+K - say on this thread where on P Hill we're going to be, cos people are always late/lame.

Markelby (Mark C), Thursday, 4 March 2004 13:40 (twenty-two years ago)

b b b b but Mark, they're usually lame after a kickabout? especially with some of the sinister hackers

chris (chris), Thursday, 4 March 2004 16:30 (twenty-two years ago)

oh, can't make this after all, sorry.

jel -- (jel), Thursday, 4 March 2004 17:50 (twenty-two years ago)

Can I safely assume that North London's arse went down big style?

Matt DC (Matt DC), Sunday, 7 March 2004 23:54 (twenty-two years ago)

The South won, with some style. But it was a glorious event, despite my partisanship. We met Eyeball Kicks - who was a gent. We also met a German called Willie who had predictably superior levels of skill and fitness. The FAP that followed the game may have been the most enjoyable ILX occasion I have ever taken part in. Hopefully further ILX kickaround events will take place in the future.

Jerry the Nipper (Jerrynipper), Monday, 8 March 2004 00:02 (twenty-two years ago)

Hmmm, I'll see you for the rematch, just as soon as I manage to bust out of this Spanish prison...

stevem (blueski), Tuesday, 9 March 2004 00:47 (twenty-two years ago)

This is the thread where all the LAME ARSES who didn't BOTHER to turn up APOLOGISE and EXPLAIN their laxness.

Markelby (Mark C), Tuesday, 9 March 2004 10:24 (twenty-two years ago)

Sorry, Barry, don't duff me up.

Michael Jones (MichaelJ), Tuesday, 9 March 2004 10:30 (twenty-two years ago)

The Doc's absence in particular was keenly felt.

Jerry the Nipper (Jerrynipper), Tuesday, 9 March 2004 10:35 (twenty-two years ago)

every part of my body seemed to be hurting this morning as a result of the football on sunday - i almost couldn't get to work this morning cos my back was so sore (god knows how my back got so sore/insert filthy comments here etc) it took me a minute to walk down the stairs.

so when's the next FAK?

ken c (ken c), Tuesday, 9 March 2004 10:42 (twenty-two years ago)

Sunday 4th April?

stevem (blueski), Tuesday, 9 March 2004 10:44 (twenty-two years ago)

sounds good to me.

god, i've just discovered that it also now hurts to sneeze.

ken c (ken c), Tuesday, 9 March 2004 10:46 (twenty-two years ago)

I can do the 4th. Roll call time?

Markelby (Mark C), Tuesday, 9 March 2004 11:04 (twenty-two years ago)

There!

Dave B (daveb), Tuesday, 9 March 2004 11:06 (twenty-two years ago)

how clumsy am I = very

propensity for injury = high

time before wedding = less than three weeks

chances of playing = nil

chris (chris), Tuesday, 9 March 2004 11:07 (twenty-two years ago)

will you instead be providing us with orange juice and biscuits during half-time?

ken c (ken c), Tuesday, 9 March 2004 11:11 (twenty-two years ago)

And ice cream?

Markelby (Mark C), Tuesday, 9 March 2004 11:12 (twenty-two years ago)

And massages?

Dave B (daveb), Tuesday, 9 March 2004 11:38 (twenty-two years ago)

**The Doc's absence in particular was keenly felt.**

I forgot abt it! Sorry, I am huge fuckwit.

Dr. C (Dr. C), Tuesday, 9 March 2004 11:42 (twenty-two years ago)

I did turn up. Just late. Due to roadworks on Pentonville Rd, the bus took about 25 minutes longer. And I didn't take JTN's number because I assumed I would be early if anything.
Maybe next time.

Canada Briggs (Canada Briggs), Tuesday, 9 March 2004 11:53 (twenty-two years ago)

Well Dr C you have been busy...

Matt DC (Matt DC), Tuesday, 9 March 2004 12:18 (twenty-two years ago)

I am a tad bamboozled by the doc's forgetfulness.

Chu was splendid in goals.

Boyle was Gascoigne, with added transvestism (but is that standard Gazza fare?) and Zizekism (that surely isn't).

the bluefox, Tuesday, 9 March 2004 13:03 (twenty-two years ago)

Now I can retire a happy man.

PS - I do not hit women.

Dave B (daveb), Tuesday, 9 March 2004 14:28 (twenty-two years ago)

Sunday 4th April - but 'we' can't miss the Cup semifinals!
