It's a Canadian show called Call For Help 2.0, which is pretty much the same thing that used to be on TechTV in the U.S.--except when TechTV merged with G4, the new corporate overlords killed the show off in favour of more gaming content. Now the host (Leo Laporte) is coming up to Toronto every few weeks to tape a whack of shows in one go. They have guests on the show to talk about a variety of topics, but now they're all based in the Toronto area, more or less. I've been reviewing gadgets for the last 6 years or so for a Canadian magazine, and thanks to a number of cool connections, I have become their Gadget Guy (or at least one of them...we'll see).

If you want to see the show live in the U.S., I'm not sure what to suggest for the time being, though I know they're lobbying hard to get it onto networks all around the world, including in the States. You might want to contact your local cable company but there may not be much that they can do about it until the Canadian company that's producing the show actually signs a deal with a U.S. network for distribution.

Mandee, I don't think I've lost any weight - I have a weird condition caused by either my asthma or 30+ years of steroid-based drugs for my asthma (I've had different medical explanations of this), meaning the size of my belly increases when my chest is bad. An odd effect of this in the past is that when I have stayed a while with friends, my chest tends to be worse and I don't eat much. I lose weight. When they see me again I am heavier, but because my chest is fine they insist I've lost weight.

just realised all three of my bloody jumpers are handwash only. plus you need to dry them flat and i don't know how to do it. plus the orange one now has a slight rip in the armpit and i need to go to my mum's and get it fixed. god i'm useless.

Just wring them out really good until they're just damp, and then lay them out flat on any flat surface til they dry! It's not too hard. Also, it's usually ok to do handwash only things on the knits/delicates cycle in your washer (cold water only) with a very little detergent. USUALLY.

Beware of wringing out delicate clothing - it can stretch things out of shape, as can hanging out something while it's heavy with water, which is why they tell you to dry it flat. Here's what to do: lay out our jumper on an old towel and roll it up into a big sausage. Excess water will be soaked up by the towel and you can then hang your jumper out normally without needing to dry it flat.

Alternatively, you can go to John Lewis and get a netting thing on a frame that sits on your bath which you can lay your jumper on to dry it flat, but these things cost money and old towels don't.
